  2. Okay Guys, I'm after a web site design package, I've seen Mr Site, Magix and WebPlus to name a few, but i would appreciate anybodies opinion please, or preferably any ones experience in using them. I'm trying to produce a site for a vocalist, with an area for downloads of songs. Biography, previous groups etc. Not looking to spend to much, but spend must be reasonable. Thanks rich
  3. Touch screen all the way, the Interface is written specifically for the fingers! See below for Centrafuse's interface Rich
  4. Ah well a genuine interested party, in that case, Computer is mini ITX 1.7 Ghz, 1 gig Ram, 40 Gb HDD, Gigabit Lan, ICH7M Ausio with Realtek ALC880 HD Audio 533/667 FSB Screen is 8 inch VGA LCD touch Screen Monitor Resolution: 800 x 600 Video Mode: PAL / NTSC Rated Voltage: DC 12V, AC 100 - 240 V Electronic Consumption: 10 W Max Viewing angle: 150 degree Full function remote controller Adjustable Brightness/Contrast/Hue/Saturation I'll be putting windows XP pro on it, however that WAS the plan, as i have access to all microsoft software, i might try out windows 7, after all, its just windows server 2008... I was thinking of putting the PC in the boot in a home made cubby hole. The screen will go in the centre console in place of the present radio and the cubby box. I shall be putting in small amp to boost the output from the PC's audio card, and use 30 Amp wire from the Battery to a power supply which will have its own fuse. Cant think of anything else at the moment but as i do i'll post it up. Thanks Rich
  5. And after i say such nice things about your car... I take it you're not a fan of CarPc's.. Rich
  6. I hope you really meant "Where" 'cos some of those bits are a bit sharp.... Rich
  7. Apart from a Sat Nav, Music Video player, internet explorer, Radio, cd player, dvd player, Phone interface, Ipod player, latest weather report, Reversing camera and engine management software, not a lot really.....but Shrek's on the right track. Rich
  8. Continuing the story.. got the screen/monitor, i shall hopefully get the monitor mounted next 2 weeks, but for now, some part i've purchased, no good having a computer without a keyboard to control it. This comes from Maplin and is a usb wireless device. i've used it on my work and home PC and it's great, just plug the dongle in, and a few seconds later, i have the 'con (must be said with an American submarine captain's accent...) Item http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=264584 It really is a great piece of work, and just right for the car, saves having a keyboard and mouse to lug around Thats all for now, i'll keep you all posted. Rich
  9. Interesting Willie..so i take it you dont use Shell V-Power.... Rich
  10. Little Red like this..
  11. Thanks Guys and i appreciate all you opinions but sometimes the petrol goes quicker than you expect and you find yourself a bit low..as it happened, the garage i found only had 95 ron unleaded, i put £10 in, would this do much damage, i'm going to fill her up with 97ron asap, but would that little bit of normal petrol do any damage? Back to topic..I have visual performance gauges and the petrol gauge is like this (see picture) would the low level light glow, as its already 'glowing'..?? Thanks a lot everyone Rich
  12. Hi guys, Can you tell me if the petrol gauge has a low petrol warning light? Dont want to run it dry just to find out.. Thanks Rich
  13. Daz Thanks mate, dont suppose you got pics of where you wire them into the ign system? i'tl save me totally stripping the dash out only to find it need 1 piece removed (which is the norm with me!!) Rich

  16. Dont call me a wally, you don't know me well enough...if you did, it wouldn't be wally... i was just commenting on the fact of a turbo wanted post underneath a turbo for sale post, as i said it just tickled me, dont care on the circumstances how they got there, Better concentrate on making your mind up on your location before dishing out insults.... rich

  18. I'm always on the look out for these sort of things... Rich
  19. Fuses!!! why o why are they the one thing i always forget to check... Thanks guys, it was the "clear lens illumination" one..10A blown. Once Again, cheers.. Stricker, i've removed the ac relay and the ac fuse from the pass side fusebox under the bonnet, When i press either the "screen" or "Auto" button, the fans still blow, Am i correct in assuming that the compressor side of things just wont work but the blowers do carry on. Would i have a heating system like a normal non ac car now? rich
  20. Hi guys, I was trying to plug something into the ciggy socket, could not get an output so i dismantled the area and dis-assembled the connections under the ciggy switch, tried to get a 12v from them with a multimeter but no go, so i put it back together. Then!! Went to come home tonight, and no lights! no side, when i go to main, i get full beam only!, Also, i get no lights on the dash, i've looked at the area under the ciggy switch but cant see anything wrong. Now i dont believe in coincidence, so is there anything in the ciggy switch area that could totally feck up the lights that i could have inadvertently done Also, quickie, which fuse do i have to remove to kill the AC Thanks Rich
  21. Hi Guys does any one have any recommendations of a video editing software package that is marginally (lol) better than Microsoft movie maker.... Rich

  23. Cheers Lads, Has anyone got the one piece fitted? rich
  24. Hi, i've been looking at getting some slam panels for the engine bay, you know, the ones/s that cover the front of the bay over the lights are and the rad. Now as i see it, i have 2 options, get it as a 3 piece option from DTA ie 2 light covers and a rad cover, or go for the zcentre option of a 1 piece item so apart from the obvious difference in money, has anyone had either of these who can give me a review thanks Rich
  25. I know, just saying that Autogauge make these with the same overall style and feel, with smoked glass, which is blak when off. Been driving it around today and i thought i was not going to like them, but i have to say, they really do a great job of giving me the information i need QUICKLY!,m with one glance, Very impressed Rich
