  1. Not sure icon commit to totb yet, but after missing it last year I'm going to try.
  2. Just spoken to our tyre suppliers, can't believe the price of those federal tyres, just ordered a set for less then the price of 2 r888,
  3. On the subject of trackdays what tyres are people using? Doing brands middle of February now, and it will probably finish my current Bridgestones off. I like my s001s but looking for more track style, tyre r888 etc, can't remember I think it was Pete had the federal track day tyres? Any good?
  4. If you have no cats the sensors can be removed, think they are cat temperature sensors As for decats causing smoke, imo they don't, however they will highlight a problem if your turbo seals are already worn.
  5. At least a lamborghini badge would have been more believable...lol
  6. Good point, tbh if there's enough of us doing a York one I could be interested although I'd end up booking a premier Inn or something. Suspect there's a few people waiting for the smack talk to start...
  7. I'd be up for santa pod or north weald for a rwyb, but Yorkshire a bit far for me, Will also be doing some evening sessions at brands indy, Don't me wrong I want to go fast, but I want to drive home afterwards too lol. Might be having a go at a hill climb event too,
  8. I want to do more this year, will see how japfest goes, sessions B & Q if your joining us. Be good to let the shortys play together...
  9. It's not stripped at all, blew the paint budget on a z1 order, decided to get it running properly first, still got more to order but will have to wait till pay day. I might be going down a different route then paint, might be getting a high gloss liquid wrap,
  10. I like the idea of joint meets, however I can't make this weekend or and in January really,
  11. So many rb or LS conversations out there, if I was going to do an engine swap it would have to be different, Or maybe do a full gtr conversation space frame and 4wd... A game I used to have you could fit an ls9 from the corvette and a 4wd system to a zed...
  12. Could be worse, at least they haven't done an LS swap... R35 conversation could be interesting, at least it would still be a v6
  13. Hopefully nothing major, are you using oversized pistons? Could be a cracked block our apprentice did that too his car, somehow connected the washer hose to a vacuum, still hasn't lived it down.
  14. I think a lwb auto would be 6.5+ seconds, na were 7+ weren't they? Na had shorter final drive so weren't that far off the family estate models.
  15. I've an older version of that hoist, lifts the engine fine, although on mine the wheels are a bit flimsy. Hard to move with the engine attached. Looks like they have moved the wheels slightly now so hopefully they've overcome that issue, perfectly good for occasional use.
  16. I know your pain, sitting at my desk now. Worst part is I can see my zed from here, it's calling to me...
  17. Don't often agree with si, but the 300 does look odd without them,
  18. Most did iirc carries onto the front and rear bumpers, think that strips too dark because they are a dark grey in practice, ( well on the zeds I've owned it was) I'm retaining mine after the respray, found a set of side skirts that should work with the strips.
  19. Not sure which version are fitted to my zed, all I know is they are meisterR, they are not bad handles much better then standard. But the ride is appalling far too stiff for a road set up, not convinced any of the adjusters work, build quality on the adjusters is not great very flimsy, reminds me of cheap Chinese made parts, don't get me wrong I want a track set up, but if I'm going to have an uncomfortable ride I want it to be right, Tbh the bc may be no better, but I had them on an old 200sx, and couldn't fault them, yes they are rock solid but I could adjust it so it felt right, it's hard to explain, might just a placebo effect. Maybe mine are of an old type or something, tbh they were on the car when I got it, they could just be broken, I'm getting bc: tyre RA, but with the 10/8 spring rate, ( I know only they only list that rate for rs, but they make them on request) I know I'm contradicting myself with such a high spring rate after complaining about the ride.
  20. Huh, guess I'm the only person who doesn't like meisterR maybe mine aren't zeta -s, don't get me wrong big improvement over standard suspension, I'll be removing mine next year, and swapping them for bc racing ones.
  21. Oops, guess I missed that, well that's good kept missing the zed sessions, Booked Q as well,
  22. Are we having a zed only track session again? If so I'd like to join in with that as well.
  23. 09\1991 2+2 At Vg30d - so an Na Just got the vin from the reg.
