  1. passed with flying colours.... Had to replace wiper blades first. Very happy.
  2. Unit 9 Wycke Hill Business Park Maldon Essex CM9 6UZ Gerbox could be anything but I would get that checked by a gearbox specialist as will probably be cheaper. http://www.yell.com/ucs/UcsSearchAction.do?keywords=Gear+Box+Mfrs+%26+Repairs&location=essex&broaderLocation=&searchType=classic&selectedClassification= vibration is likely to be balance of wheels or warped disc/s Tapping, put thicker oil in to start as this cures everything. if it is a tapping then it might well be hydraulic tappets, Have you tried the long screwdriver, sharp end on engine, blunt end in your ear (can try the other way if you want!) to see where the sound is comming from?
  3. Nisstek in Maldon, but they have a waiting list. What probs you having mate?
  4. I had a similar prob with my pump which was really bad, it buzzed when you turned the ignition on and like you say, drowned out by the car running. The probs I had were that the car stuttered when giving it a bit of abuse, I noticed no drop in revs like yours, I hope you find the prob.
  5. Not trying hard enough....? :slap:
  6. Hello Stu.. Zevans is spot on, if u let insurance lapse for 2 years (some allow more) you generally have to start all over again. Although u have 13 years most insurers allow 60 % (6 years +) some vary this. Ever filled out an insurance form where they ask how lomg u been driving but only allow you to tick an 'X+' years' box???? To reclaim the last 2 they will accept a letter from the MOD saying you drove for them and were a good boy. As for the previous years you may have to prove no claims...got any of your old renewal notices, if so, send them in. Insurance companies talk to each other and therefore must know, guess that they have you over if you fail to keep a proper record. Good luck mate.
  7. Why does everyone want to sell em?...just bought mine...is there someting I should know?.. (ferk it, keeping mine whatever...hey, if you all sell yours bits will become cheaper....I can then buy all the bits I want and afford it.... )
  8. Sounds like a swinger place to me... :p
  9. I just got a set from mike, gotta fit em yet, £71 a full set, they go real fast though, be quick as he may not have any left if u are'nt careful bud.
  10. Insurance Co will have to cover third party liability always unless they 'void' the policy (write to you to say 'you aint insured because....'). Any undeclared mods will make the policy 'voidable' but if they dont know they cannot make it void. Your problem will be if you try and claim for reimbursement on your own policy. Say you have a bit of a crash, into a tree, the assessor arrives and sees you have mods which are not declared to the underwriter...he /she will report that to them and the underwriter will say thats not the car we insured, no chance...check your policy schedule and terms and conditions that they send out each year...and when you renew they ask if it has been modified....blah..blah
  11. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=38223&highlight=free+porn Saw this the other day...not quite what you think..

  13. would help if I posted the link.... :slap: http://c8c0b6a2f859085c49d718219178cb9e.powersport.co.uk/stock.php?partno=ULTRASEAL&catno=IB&department=Workshop
  14. this stuff works (well, never had a puncture with it...but then I wouldnt know....?) Know someone whe swaers by it with a nail, removed it and the tyre sealed it self. I know there are other brands available too but dont know what they are called, a visit to Halfords might be in order. The difference is that u fill your tyre and when the puncture happens it self seals as it leaks out and therefore seals the leak,,
  15. Thanks...I dont know a lot about theese things but get by..... The firewall is new mcafee and up to date, tested it via their integral check through http://www.hackerwatch.org which says all secure so there is probably something lurking on my disc somewhere even though scans by latest mcafee and the other spy/ad ware dont find it. I thought XP was supposed to be good (it is better than 98) but am dissapointed with its security issues. I guess there is always someone who will try and compromise it though. I have done the update (thanks mike) and for now I dont get a message from sara who has just turned 18 (bit disapointed now!) so somethings happening. Question...would this be resident in the puters memory or is it sneaking past the firewall ( I only have outlook/explorer and mcafee/windows updates as allowed thru the firewall) Thanks again....
  16. I had a massive crash on my puter the other day which resulted in its death...I have resurrected it but now get a prob with this bloody pop up thingy (see pic) and others!!. Am running latest mcafee virus/firewall on Windows XP and formerly think I had a virus which is what must have killed it. (dont know how it got on here.) I started from scratch again so think that any gremlins should have been deleted. Tried Ad aware(latest update), spybot(as before) and of course done a full scan. found a few things but it keeps comming up...oops, theres another one just popped up. Do I just need a pop up blocker or shall I let it meet with an unfortunate accident? Any help will be appreciated.. :(
  17. No a lot of help at the mo but when the kids get older I guarantee he will be well sorted!!!
