Guest Timmy_Turbo Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 Right this is a tricky one. I'm back in a good contract at the moment so money is not a big issue at the. However, I'm getting the bike bug back in a big way so as soon as I get my license back from DVLA (not banned, just sent it off for a change of address...two years ago and refused to pay the feckers for the photocard jobby but now that's free! All things come cheaply to those who wait LMFAO) I will be doing my CBT (again! FFS) and theory (again) asap. Probably then try and get the Direct Access out the way sharpish aswell. I want to buy an R-6 before all that so that I will have the incentive to get on with it this time which I stupidly didn't have last time...so my CBT expired hence why I will have to do it all again this time round! Arse! Especially as I was lucky enough to do my ride-out on a 500 and not a cack 125 on my CBT. Do I sell the Z to buy a pukka R6 or keep the beached whale? I'm trying to be reallistic here, to be perfectly honest I don't use the Z that much anymore and having the MR-2 aswell I don't think when I'm home at weekends I will have much time to run both cars. Any feedback much appreciated. Quote
takemetothepub Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 Think if your hearts calling you to the bike go for it and give the Zed to someone who is getting a Zed calling. Sure you already know what you want to do. Quote

MikeGroves Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 Just get a bigger engine in the zed :D tough question really, if you don't use the zed and like to use the mr2 as a daily driver then get sell the zed, but why have you kept it so long if your heart really isn't there anymore :D. I think a new R6 will be unveiled at the Munich show at the end of the month so expect big discounts on all 2004 R6s (I think that goes for all the current sporty 600s). Quote
Guest Timmy_Turbo Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 LMFAO Iain! :) Honda Melody or a Puch Maxi bud??? Decisions...decisions... Doubt if I'd be able to get a brand spanker anyway (R6 not a Honda Melody FFS!)...first bike and all that...ooopppssss dropped it etc. etc. Maybe a 2000/2001 though would be nice. Iain I'm gonna get a Melody aswell for the ciggy run to Spar of an evening and be the envy of all the scooter crue who frequent the area as they have f\/ck all else to do. ;) Quote
