Direct line, jap car, no mods (yet) full NCB nearly 40 just under 500 full comp Bet they try and catch up on me next time though...will do Houghtons as due in October. My bike costs me 500 quid too...ferk, its not like I'm a nutter... :x:
  3. The photo cell has something to do with the climate control I believe? could b wrong..but my other car has the same, as does my z
  4. Too mutch of a coincedence to fail after PCV replace, reckon you have dislodged something somewhere, white smoke usually indicates water (or steam), was it losing before? Get a compression test done, that will tell you if it is in the limits allowed (you can also get a coolant compression test done to try to find out where it is losing) Let us know...
  5. Generally manufacturerers tints are at their max....you have a grade called AS1 on the front and AS2 on the sides (driver/passenger door) look on your windscreen, reckon there will be a line with an arrow pointing down saying AS1. This means 80% of light thru windscreen. Side windows may be marked AS2 where the manufacturers mark is (lower corner) (70%) If your glass is marked this way then any tint would drop it below that. (even dirt would make the light passing thru less) There r loads o people who do this but I heard it is being looked at by the vehicle inspectorate to be included in the MOT in the future..
  6. Lot of people here who 'think' or 'heard of a mate ' What is the answer then????
  7. Bad luck mate..lot of people forget to look where they want to go and look at where they are so cause themselves probs. Trouble is there are no second chances on a u turn on your test. Sounds like everything else went ok (you didnt say it had'nt !!) Book it again.

  18. Yeah,,,tou can get a metal handbrake thing....spotlamps, ally foot rest, decals for the roof... feel the rush.... hehehe
  19. Had a few probs with mine too...like it just made up its own valet code so I cant do a thing with it...still...at least I heard back from clifford UK who told me nothing they could do and take it to an authorised installer (good job I can start it then) Sounds like your alarm has 'forgotten; your remote code...will need to get an expert installer on it to hack into the alarm ECU and re install the remote...good from a security point o view I guess! At the worst they might have to send it off to Directelectronics (who bought clifford out ) to reset it at the cost of a new unit!) sorry to be negative!!!
