Bit p155edoff now, bought a new card (Nvidiageforce thing)...(hoping to save money on upgrade!!) my old card (voodoo 5 PCI) worked better...f**k!!!... Put the game on the laptop which has NO 3D CARD!!!....works better on that Thought I would have a bit of a look around on the net....how much choice..? Dont know what to do now, gonna get a p4 though..

getting the old one off is the time consuming bit, the studs/bolts from the cat get pretty hot and tend to be a bit of a git, drilled mine out in the end and fitted some that wont rust!! Good luck mate, get it done before winter sets in!!

I think I will do a rebuild as you say...trouble is that I dont know a great deal about it, enough to get by I guess.. I WILL be seeking your advice,,Thanks all of you who took the time to respond. :hyper:

I took mine off the other week, the main thing is the screw behind the round blanking plug at top rear of thre pannel. The rest is pretty obvious...only found this out after loads o swearing!¬!!!

Sounds good, was a bit dissapointed with this AMD chip compared to a plentium though...as soon as I got it..... am running it on an ASUS motherboard though which aint too bad, but there is a prob with it and the USB ports not supporting my ADSL modem properly so I get the occasional shut off from the net...guess they have addressed that issue thogh..

I was reckoning 150 for the video card, 300 for motherboard and chip, but am not sure about it. Built the last one (well this one! ) several years back now, bu I nkow thet there are some blinding deals about so thinking about it..?

Bought a game for mine today...didnt realise how cr@p it was.(the puter..1g athlon,,, 512 ram), hard drive ok though and it does the net at a blinding speed thanx to broadband.... So I thought....must get a new one....Who has the best deal at the mo? I know Dell are pretty good but who has the best package? Want a fast plentium with loads o ram...not bothered about hard drive as this is replaceable...Oh, and I want a good graphics card. DVD r/w. not bothered about the 'free software'...(?) Any ideas?? Old pc will be donated to charity.

I read the booklet that comes with the road tax reminder. From April 2005 (or was it july) the old style log book becomes useless and you shouldnt buy/sell a car without the new one. This is going to be issued after you re tax your car this time around. Something to do with bringing all of Europe in line.

probably the relay if the hazards ar ok as they work on a seperate relay, they dont normally pack up so could be a connection, but I have been wrong before....

I like the lazy nature of an auto, one to go, one to stop and not a lot between them in reaity. Was looking for a manual originally but hard to find good ones and cant be arsed with all that changing gear sh1te and as I live in the SE get stuck in traffic...Auto is good for me, and as Steve-O says, overdrive off, power light on...happy days...and u wont have to worry about the engine...less stressed.... I know some people will disagree but I do like the Auto..

Its only going to ge worse bud so u have to get it sorted one way or another..DON'T even think about that rad weld stuff as it will block up your cooling system to a degree, get the system pressure tested if u cant find the leak. Good luck, lkeep us posted.

Good work Rich...the Z kind of 'wills' you to do all that stuff, I too am normally sensible, in my Z I do ferk all MPG and my tyres are wearing out fast. Took a friend out the other day who described it as a 'tiger waiting to pounce' I can understand what he means....hehe :dance:
