  1. Am I the only one who thinks this stuff is sh1te,,,,? Had a headset...did'nt work..... got a USB adapter....does'nt work (well worked for 20 seconds with phone then died) Network PCI card....does'nt work... Patch cable (connect to the laptop (which works fine) desktop wont recognise connection. Am I doing everything wrong??
  2. I looked at this because it sounded like a good bit of kit, (still does) but they had run completely out of interface cables. I got Conzult instead which I must admit is excellent so will be interested to see how this compares..sounds quite good though..keep us posted..
  3. http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi front axle/suspension page 25 good luck
  4. Eh..? I sent my installation cert to them which says 'turbo Timer Fitted' and no complaint from them at all. Although you have a good point about leaving your car running, it is timed and you cant get far with a steering lock. I have heard that insurers still have been obliged to settle theft claims even when keys are left in it (running) as theft is theft afterall. (perhaps the insurance Co's have closed the loophole now....Anyone on here in insurance to clarify that??) I will of course  to your knowledge about the alarm sys.... By the way...I found a way to get into the valet code....dont know if you remember I contacted you about it..?
  5. Cheaper to buy a rowing boat anyway...
  6. You might find any alarm has to be thatcham approved before your insurers will cover you. I have a clifford concept with turbo timer built in. Think this is standard on them and not an optional extra.
  7. County court is for civil cases. This will be at a magistrates court as it is for careless driving. Crown court is for appeals and serious stuff. Prosecution have to prove beyond all reasonable doubt you were careless, (county courts work on balance of probability which it will be at for subsequent insurance claim no doubt) Good luck .

  13. Voltage regulator I think, best to have it checked by auto electrician who will bench test...if repairable it would be the cheapest option..
  14. also check the reservoir and connections on that too..if your brake fluid is too low or the electrical connector has failed...
  15. got a pic? That might help ?

they are so common, wouldn't have one if you gave it to me.
  17. addictive and a total waste of time!!!! http://www.miniclip.com/hostileskies.htm
  18. The car starts up ok, but doesnt move at all drive or reverse, however it will sometimes "grip" and move a little. (this is what she told me!) sounds like clutch release mech is buggered if a manual... sounds like an auto box fault though... are u sure its a manual??
  19. Yes, it is a lot..Nissan wanted 140 !!!!!! I tried to source one elsewhere but was told it is only available as an oem part... cant believe that but needed mine in a hurry. I will have a look about and see if I can find one cheaper!
  20. I did mine, you have to take the hub out as the bearing is pressed into it. Not too bad a job but the bolts are f@@@@g tight! so it took time.. Nissan recomend changing the flange that your wheel fits onto but that is not necessary. Mike at MJP got mine at a smidge over £100.....ouch....
  21. Ive got a slightly older 6 for 1 which is excellent, never replaced the batteries on it at all and used it to make my DVD multi reigon!!!! (as per some dodgy instructions I found on the net!)
  22. I read something about this a while ago....could be wrong but.. http://www.300zx-twinturbo.com/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=st&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=53&design=default&total=98 they sound adjustable....
