  1. I think I have the UK brochures, is that what your looking to see?
  2. Each to there own as they say!
  3. I know but hopefully either way I'll end up with one Version S! The gentleman that bought the black TT was called Jon.
  4. Yes its my car. I had 3 of them at the same time all low miles and in petty much the same condition. The black TT is now sold and went to a good home in the UK. I told the new owner about this site and think he has already joined up. The other two I have are both 99 Version S cars, one is N/A the other is TT. I cant keep both so which ever sells first, I will keep the other one, havent really advertised the TT one, just put a note at the bottom of the add. To answer a couple of questions, 99 Version-S didnt come with a rear spoiler as someone already mentioned, the front bumper has not been resprayed as far a I can tell, and "Gonzo12c" this car would cost more to import from Japan as it stands today! There is a similar car for sale in Japan with 33,000miles, landed here in the UK with all duties etc paid, it would cost around £13,000. If you want me to get you a price for the car you mentioned let me know and I'll do the calculations for you no problem. As for the price of the one for sale, I'm open to a sensible offer, I've seen convertibles asking £6k and more with much higher miles and lower year so makes mine look not badly priced considering its much more rare and like something that rolled out of a Nissan showroom and its a genuine 1999 car. And thanks for the positive comments guys! Much appreciated.
  5. Zcentre do these too http://www.zcentre.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.pbv.tpl&product_id=179&category_id=74&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=7
  6. Gary is from around Belfast direction I think and I'm about 30min away from Magherafelt.
  7. Belts were only on the doors up until 93/94 wasn't it?
  8. Its not an OEM thing Gary, just coincidence there is a pic of the Z on it.
  9. I had a green on of these in an old Z! Didnt realise Aldi sold them.
  10. I voted "other" as white wasnt in the list then. So count me for white too.
  11. White for me! Although Sonic Silver Metallic is nice too lol
  12. Great Job Gary! I too think the original 89/90's spoiler is still the best looking on the Z. Didnt realise you had a SWB car too, would love to get a look at it sometime as I have never seen one in the flesh also If your ever down my direction let me know and call round.
  13. Great find! Thanks for posting.
  14. Yeah already though about doing that! Closest place to go would be somewhere around stranraer, but its still works out allot more expensive, the ferry alone be over £140, plus the fuel costs would take it above £200 then the mot cost. I had a huge debate with the MOT head office here on why the SVA/IVA rule is fine and acceptable, but mot on single display is not...........................There was a huge silence on his end.............Then no solid answer lol....................Its a real joke to be honest. My brother has a 996/911 and its not dual marked, but there is a option within the computer to flick the digital read out to show KMH and thats also fine.
  15. In the south its KMH and they dont have a requirement for dual display. Amazing that such a small part of ireland [Northern Ireland] can enforce such a law! As far as I'm aware you cant add GPS or anything like that, has to be in the dial. And this one will really make your mind boggle............... If you buy a JDM import that is subject to SVA/IVA and the car passes on just a single display, then its acceptable in N.I with just a single display and will never need dual marked?? I mean, how can this be ok and the other not?? Also if I buy a JDM car in the UK that has an MOT and only a single display, then its fine here to drive and legal, its only up until I have to put a new MOT on the car in N.I that it will fail as again, its not dual display.
  16. Ian your 100% right!! Does have O/D. I never even noticed the button before or the BIG LETTERING SAYING "OVER DRIVE" lol That my bad eyesight for you, should start spending money on laser surgery lol So again, not bother either if O/D or the rest dont light up. All I need is a dual marked speedo that I guess, has the rev counter working, speedo and thats it really? If there are any other faults or lights that stay on I guess I could pull the bulbs. This is such a pain in the ass, because although UK and N.I are supposed to be the same, our MOT guys will just not accept a single marked display.
  17. I think I'll go out a double check the O/D thing, as I never noticed it? although in saying that, I havent been in the car much lol I was just going to take the OEM gauges with me and hopefully the MOT men would be understanding and put the original mile from those dials on?? Maybe thats asking a bit much from them?? lol
  18. I have 2 99 cars, One is N/A other TT. Seems they brought the turbo gauge back on late spec [well on Version S anyway] I wasnt planning on registering my TT yet, but decided tonite that I may as well get the MOT part out of the way and apply for the V5. If I had one cluster that would work in both cars, that would be ideal. I guess things like the turbo gauge/certain light etc dont matter as usually all the mot people look at is, 1. Dual Marked, 2. no fault warning like brake/ABS etc and I think thats about it?
  19. O/D?? I dont think my auto has O/D?? Has power/hold though! But wouldnt care if they light up or not as it would be just to get it passed mot, plus the car will be transported over to the mot station and transported back, so the only distance it will drive is through the mot station.
  20. Thanks for the photos Pete! That gives me some idea on what to look for at the rear. I take it there is no difference between auto/manual dials?
  21. Thanks for info! Can you send me some pics please? I can then have a look at the back of mine to see if the plug layout is the same.
  22. Thanks for reply Gary, they seem to bit hit or miss on this and guess it depends on the examiner on the day, your luck to have got a pass that day on the dials as I have had earlier Z's too and they also had to be dual marked!! Infact not too long ago I had a 92 GTR and they told me at the MOT station it also had to be dual marked, so I would say you were just very lucky that day! Anyway I dont want a new white dial as I'm not touching the OEM dials in the car, they would be too hard to match and infact the dials arn't exactly white, they are a light gold which I think would be even hard to do. All I'm after is a used complete speedo that has dual markings that will work ok with my model just to get it through the mot, then I'll pop the original dials back in.
  23. Little bit of an issue here [N.IRELAND] with MOT and Speedo regulation. Basically imports here have to be dual marked as in MPH and KMH, were in the UK you can MOT the car on single display and just put an MPH sticker over the KMH. My problem is, I dont want to mess about with the OEM white dials in my Version S cars, so I was thinking of getting an older cluster to pop in there to get it through MOT and then put the original back in. Being its a 99 car, what year of used dash will work? I'm thinking 95? Or will an earlier AUTO dash work? Also anyone got one that has the dual markings already on it?
  24. Oh right! Dont have either if those gizmos! Infact no idea what PS3 0r PSP is?
  25. I have no idea what GT5 is? lol
