  1. Thanks for the info Dave! I'll print that off and if I go for the spoiler will hand it over to the body shop if and when I go down that route. So next question is, I'd like to get the OEM JDM radio and CD player or DSP unit that sits below the radio, as I mentioned a few threads back, the OEM radio plugs on my car are different form the earlier cars, has anyone come across this before? and has anyone got the radio and cd player or DSP thing?
  2. Could be interested yet after seeing those last pics lol! Can you PM me a price please?
  3. Have to say that does look good! Is there an exact position the spoiler should sit at on the lid so that its the same positioning as OEM?
  4. OH RIGHT! Didnt think about that! That surely wouldnt take away from the purist thing then. The other thing I didnt the idea of doing was, drilling holes in the lid to fit the spoiler, I know its necessary but just didnt like the thought lol.
  5. Yeah the red car was nice, one of the cleanest UK cars I've had. I'm planning on keeping the Version S and would like to do just one or two things to it. I'd like the original JDM radio and CD player or DSP unit that sits below. I noticed on this car though that the OEM radio plugs are different from the earlier cars?
  6. I know what you mean, it does seem a little bare at the back.
  7. Yip! But was over a year ago! Good memory lol
  8. Thats pretty much what I was wondering and now you have mentioned the difference I think I'll leave it as is, I'm a bit of purist especially with cars that are a bit rare.
  9. I have a 99 version S, it doesnt have the rear spoiler and my question to you guys is, would you add the 99 spec rear spoiler or would you leave it as it came from the factory?
  10. Where? Cant see anything?
  11. They went up and down in price when NEW back in the day. In 93/94 they were around £35k new. Going by the add, the car is late 93 on an L, it says there is an original bill of sale from "1994" for £28k so thats a number of months later which is why I assume it was £28k with a few miles.
  12. Nope, the black accross the front of the T-Bar and Rear is not standard on any Z, unless the car is black obviously lol! But it is a nice feature I think, alot of new cars today are doing the whole black roof, panoramic, Carbon etc. Seen a few other Zed's with this done.
  13. Thanks again, just waiting now for the stereo bracket from Jeff to install. Ran into another problem, the antenna in the car has been altered to a single plug, but the one on the OEM stereo take a 2 pin male plug and I cant find any adapters on EBAY etc that go from single to 2 pin male, I can find single to 2 pin female ok but that no use obviously.
  14. Ah yes! That looks like the unit I have, all be it I dont have the black earth wire and the yellow wire/socket coming from my CD player has no connection to plug into? Thanks for the write up on the wiring diagram! Thats a big help.
  15. Pic of the diagram on the CD player
  16. Mabe your getting mixed up in the pic Jeff? I've flipped the pic now so it looks prettymuch the same setup as the one with the adapter lead:
  17. Hi Jeff! Thanks for reply and stereo is a great job and in lovely condition, so thank you for that. I found a pic of the adapter, actually just sent you guys an email with a pic of the adapter cable:
  18. I bought it off Jett and Zed World so will check in with him! If you find the pics that would be great, Thanks
  19. Ok thanks for that! Any pics of it or know where I could get one?
  20. Thanks Dave! That would be a help. The adapter lead you mentioned, where does it run from?
  21. Hi, Yeah think I know what your mean. The OEM loom that plugs into the Stereo/Radio has a connector that, the CD player plugs into, using that yellow wire, would that be right? [think i'm missing that plug] I take it the 4 pin male socket on the CD Player doesnt get used?
  22. The loom has been altered as there was a kenwood unit in the car, but I have the OEM connectors so it all fits back into the head unit ok and have the radio working fine, just the CD wont power up and I'm thinking that the yellow wire has to go somewhere or a plug is missing that goes into the 4 pin slot in the CD player?
  23. I'm instaling the UK stereo and CD player and have a question, I know what the plugs on the radio are for but cant work out the CD player? One wire [cream/white] comes out of the CD player and goes into the radio but the cd player also has a yellow wire coming from it and also a 4 pin plug and I'm not sure what these are for? The adio powers up fine but CD player wont and I'm guess it something to do with that wire and plug Heres a pic, radio is the bottom one, cd on top
  24. Yeah spoke to Andy earlier and just decided to send it to him! Well worth it I say.
