  1. Am I the only person that just calls the car by its name lol For example: I'm going to wash the ZX, or I think I'll hoover out the Iveco
  2. I see he he/she has added some nice new pics! Looks even better in the sun!
  3. That is very very nice! I actually like the color and interior and thats the first time I have ever seen a Z with dual airbags!
  4. Maybe its just me but I dont get it?? Its what, something like £15/£20 quid to join for a year? Surely thats worth paying just so the guys that run the club can do the best job they can. The site doesnt run by itself. Couple that with the amount of information/knowledge/parts/cars and other invaluable help; for me make it very reasonable.
  5. Nice one Gary! I actually mentioned your car to a few guys that were asking me about mine recently, as it was such a nice example.

  7. You living in a differnet country from me?? "SUMMER" night driving, didnt realise summer even arrived here yet lol All joking aside, totally know what your mean, but I have never driven that car at nite. I installed a HID kit on it 4 years ago and the only time its seen, is again, at MOT time lol
  8. Many thanks Gary for the compliments, But remember it wasnt cleaned when you saw it lol. Just thinking I forgot to show you the UK TT Supra, but maybe its not your thing anyway, you looked content enough. Yowser; Totally agree, I much prefer the pre-facelift, but also the non power steering cars, which is one of the main reasons I went for this model as PS was standard on all facelift models. Whats funny though, in all the years I've owned NSX's, I've never and I mean NEVER, had the the headlights up, apart from going through MOT.
  9. I cut the number down so not bore everyone lol
  10. Supra prices have always been quite strong, but only when they are either UK Twin Turbo Manual UK Twin Turbo Auto JDM Manual TT JDM Manual TT Aero Top JDM Auto TT Aero Top One of rarest of the bunch is the TT Aero Manual and very late 2000/2001 cars. UK cars have also become extremely rare and hold there money very well. I have a UK TT Auto at the moment, but also owned the rest of the variations over the years, the rarest and most unique one I have owned was a 2001 Twin Turbo VVTI which I imported from Japan last year, they have an updated engine and host of other items, plus it was also tiptronic with steering wheel control [almost like paddle shift] Hers some pics
  11. I'm lost as appreciate I'm not in the know; but Dave, please point me in the right direction for more pics of your convertible!
  12. Its not purple lol Maybe another member could give it a good home:wink:
  13. Yip exactly what stellaZ has mentioned, it wont be cheaper, but importing has many factors and exchange rate is one obviously, however in this case the euro is less in value than the UK pound and the YEN, so you wont get it cheaper. The only way you might save money is to look into the import laws, duties and tax for your country. It may work out less, but could very well cost you more! Oh and just to add, I've been importing cars from Japan since 1994!! So have quite a bit of back ground into it.
  14. And it still is! Cheapest purple 99/2000 model I could find so far was a non turbo, auto, 55,000miles, Version-S; that car landed in the UK with all duties paid and on the road would cost around £11500 today, give or take. Cheapest Twin Turbo 98/99 model I can find in purple is manual, 33,000miles, standard car [not Version-S] on the road in the UK would be around £16,800 give or take. May as well just buy mine lol http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150644028983&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT#ht_112953wt_1139

  16. Missed this thread and know I'm too late to reply, but I actually like it, only seen it on one Z here and dont know why but liked the quirky thing too, an idea would have been to color code the black plastic part to body color to see what it looked like. daZvert: where could I see more photos of the convertible in your signature? have you a thread or any links? Thanks
  17. I also think he comes across as a really nice person and down to earth and to be honest, I cant recall anyone [apart from the obvious person] who has said a bad word about him! I actually enjoy watching his TV series and this new one just makes him more grounded.
  18. Yeah your quite right, the interior does have a similar feel as both dash's have that flowing design down the centre and a capsule type feel for driver and passenger, however the ZX feels much bigger in the cabin and I guess thats due to the rear seats on 2+2 anyway, [never been in a 2 seater] the dash also seems larger on the ZX.
  19. Just a some more update work and pics I forgot to add. My car has the NSX gear lever and knob, and some wanted to see the difference on the NSX club, so just carrying the same info over to here. The gear lever is complete different in that it has female threads and is much shorter than standard NSX and even Type-S NSX. The gear knob is also very VERY tiny. It is similar in look to the Type-S NSX but if you see them side by side, there is a HUGE difference in size and I guess also in weight. Here are some pics: So on the left is the NSX-R lever This is the setup installed in the lever mounts: Standard NSX lever on the left and NSX-R lever on the right OEM NSX-R Gear Knob Some pics of it installed
  20. Yes Sir! Been a member since 04; but long time ZX owner, think the first Z was around 94/95, UK Manual in yellow.
  21. Amazing work and I myself was wondering if this was possible. Great write up!
