ROOF OUT! - - No Place To Go lol
Had a little laugh reading the last couple of posts. I sent the car to Jeff on behalf of the new owner to be prepared for MOT etc as it's just to much hassle getting it done here in N.I. Jeff didnt realise it was me that sent it though and I guess didnt realise I had another Version-S.

Yeah is sure is! I just bought a large universal/breathable cover Gary, didnt need anything special as the cars always garaged. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370410763083#ht_1806wt_1199

Just too the Z out for a wash and clean down and took the roof out for the first time, but cant drive it yet as I need to register it lol- 1999 slicktop anybody
lol You did look very happy sitting in there!- 1999 slicktop anybody
Side skirts are only standard on the Version-R, along with the boot spoiler and recaro seats and some other bits.- 1999 slicktop anybody
That spec I mentioned is on my TT Version-S. The non turbo Version-S doesnt come with Xenons as standard and didnt have the same radio setup, but very possible they could be dealer extras when ordering new.- 1999 slicktop anybody
The specs are different as to the model in 99. i.e Version-R, Version-S, and standard ZX are all different.- 1999 slicktop anybody
Whats the full 99 spec package? I have the 99 brochure and I can tell you now, my 99 Version S TT is full spec to what it is in the brochure with factory fitted xenons, in fact it even has the original extra of MD player and upgraded mats.- 1999 slicktop anybody
You have lost me there! Neither of my 2 Version-S cars are advertised anywhere now. The only one I did have advertised was the N/A car and that sold a few weeks ago.- 1999 slicktop anybody
Which one did you ask about?- 1999 slicktop anybody
Yip you have lol! I havent seen or looked at the cars since you called and if I dont make a concious effort to get the TT on the road, I may not see look at it or sit it again for a few months! Bought a car cover for it too, which may have been a bad move, as the less I see of it the less interested I'll be in registering it.- 1999 slicktop anybody
Buy the car have the seats for free lol [only joking before anyone asks lol] I'm not sure how easy it would be to replicate that trim as its a really unusual material, well so I think. The bolster trim is completely different from the centre, not just in color but in texture,- 1999 slicktop anybody
Thats a good pic!!! Is that the N/A or TT??- 1999 slicktop anybody
Yip! when the "ask" is the only option in JDM cars adds, its usually a good sign it's expensive. Trade Car View though, is basically the same as Auto Trader here. I'm happy with me seats; although ashamed to say, I have yet so sit in them for more than 15mins lol Need to get it registered an on the road for summer.- 1999 slicktop anybody
Very nice! Love those seats lol Wouldnt be cheap thought!- Vintage Toy Collection
lol many thanks! The boxes are not empties they are complete! The toys on the floor are the ones without boxes lol- How can you tell an import.
It could also have been an Irish registered car first, I'm almost sure way back in the day they were classed as "overseas" although a genuine Irish dealer sold or N.I dealers sold ZX is the same as a UK car.- car show tomorrow
Very nice Gary!! Looks as clean as mine! So when you organising an N.I Z meet?- Vintage Toy Collection
Well feck me lol!!! I never noticed that before, its been a few years since I've been up there lol- Ouch that flipping hurt
I had a similar situation last year; was working away on a car and like yourself involved a bit more heavy/dangerous work, all went smooth and not even a scratched knuckle lol; anyway that evening decided to do a bit of home diy [wont bore you with what it was] but it involved a tiny bit of drilling, all was going well until the the drill bit snapped in half, next thing I was looking at the broken half of the drill bit that went through the tip of my finger an it was still attached to the drill! So at this point I weighed up the situation, the broken bit would not pull free.............So I put the drill in reverse and pulled the trigger..............The rest I'm sure you guys can guess lol. Finger came out ok thankfully, just a tiny bit of loss of feeling, but can live with it in one piece. - ROOF OUT! - - No Place To Go lol
