  1. Ive got a spare R34 one you can have. Think it's the same. Won't be able to dig it out until Thursday though because my new kitchen is stacked in the room with all the bits in. If you need one before then, try MJP.
  2. What chip is in it? How much is it overfuelling, whats the AFR like? Worth pulling the vac line off the pressure reg with engine off, see if it hisses, if it does then the PRVR system might be stuck, putting too much pressure on the reg. Dodgy fuel temp sensor will also activate the PRVR Definately worth checking the fuel pressure anyway. Are the lambda sensors OK? If one is showing lean all the time then the ECU will add more correction and enrich the fuel. If temp sensor is faulty can also cause it. Best place to start is get it on a consult first and see if everything is OK.
  3. Clear your PM box mate, or drop me a line re: your questions.
  4. Worth checking for boost leaks first incase that's why it's running rich. What boost did Thor's trace show you were at.

You use a MAP sensor instead (manifold absolute pressure). Basically the ECU uses that for load sensing instead of a MAF. Usually a MAF is more accurate and gives better driveability with the trade off being higher pressure drop through the inlet tract.
  6. FFS Ian, you just can't help yourself can you!
  7. Cool, as far as I can tell on mine though the crap idle is due to the MAF not accuratly metering for the air on both banks. Without a MAF you shouldn't have the problem. Might be worth a try when you get it running as even the Dools is still a pressure drop that you might not need.
  8. Just make sure you get the right ones. '96+ were different.
  9. Just a question Ian, but why are you bothering with the doolz at all, why not just put a filter on each intake pipe? You still have the balance bar to equalise pressure between banks anyway and the idle air measurement is not an issue with a MAP system.
  10. Hi Danny. Is a bit loud isn't it! TBH it is quite loud inside but I love the noise - hardly bother with the stereo these days. How does it sound from outside, never heard it yet? Should have heard it with me and Leigh in convoy to Alunox a while back. That turned a few heads! Cheers John
  11. If these are the same ones Vinz has on his then 15psi should be fine if everything else is OK.
  12. You won't let me forget that eliminator will you!! Maybe I should paint it black ;)
  13. No it dosen't sound very stock :D And it'll never have any bling :nono:
  14. Mine has no bling, looks stock and is always dirty, does that qualify ?!
  15. My E01 doesn't spike at all. Just got to set it up right.
  16. Just run lines off both actuators, tee them together and connect to the outlet of your boost controller solenoid. Connect the 2 outlets on the bottom of the intake hardpipes (the ones that are joined to the throttle bodies by hose) together then tee them to the other side of the solenoid. Pretty much as that install guide on TT net, but use your new wastegate lines.
  17. Chris, drop me a line 07989 559702 sometime and we can discuss. Cheers John
  18. The standard boost sensor is mounted on the drivers side of the car, fed from the 3mm line off the LHS of the balance bar (as you look at it). Tee it into that one.
  19. No Probs Matt, will see you sometime.
  20. Lol, what you after Mark ;)
  21. I can do it for you if you want. Can sort out a chip too. I'm in kidderminster. Drop me a PM if you're interested.
  22. Sent you a PM mate, email me the pics and I'll see if it's any good for what we need. Cheers
  23. If Chris's guy dosen't want it, I know someone who might.
  24. Oh, I thought they came with disks when you spoke to me last night!
