  1. No much in absolute terms but worth much more as they are rotating masses. 1001 now ;)
  2. Big savings are alloy bell disks and titanium springs too. If you get remote resevoir dampers you'll reduce the unsprung weight quite considerably. For light wheels, BBS LM (see my rides).
  3. Shit Pete, sorry to hear it mate. Drop me a line if I can help.
  4. Me too, but a tank of fuel is about 40kg ish. I bet the skylark brakes add 20kg too. I know our weighbridge is accurate to 5kg. It's still nearly 9% though. Guess I'd better go strip out that ABS and Air con ....
  5. Weighed my Z on the weighbridge at work yesterday - 1510kg with a full tank. Dosen't seem all that bad really. Anyone else weighed theirs?
  6. It was made by a company called top speed, maybe worth searching for. It was better than the stillen one as the ends were round, so the seals fit properly. SE do one that has new arms with it, but it's about £240.
  7. No probs Rich. Drop me a line when you get the other bits.
  8. Not sure TBH. Might do if you spin the wheels up.
  9. If you're talking about the GPS Celica, it's got an Apexi Power FC in it and I think Chris is a bit of a guru on them.
  10. Most likely you hit the limiter then just got some unburned fuel banging in the exhaust.
  11. Jay, If it's leaking that much it's more likely to be one of the big boost pipes than a small vac line. Check the rubber hoses where the turbo outlets are joined to the hard pipes and the ones on the throttle bodies / intercoolers.
  12. Jay, still think yours is probably due to the cut and shut loom mods. I never figured out how to connect up the screen. I'll have a look for you. If I don't get back, give me a call - I have no memory!
  13. Chris, they're £100 off Smithy. Not much more than EBC really.
  14. Cheers, I guess I'll stick with the coppers for now then ....
  15. Rob, it the other plug you're talking about available in other heat ranges?
  16. You're not kidding. And if you want an Mi16 engine put in I know a man that's done a few ;)
  17. PRVR system HICAS rack + all solenoids and piping ABS system + reroute brake lines Carbon cannister Coolant resevoir for smaller one
  18. Rob, when I spoke to NGK technical they said the only match was in an 8 heat range and was a racing plug part Rxxxx. I'll see if I can find the number. Worth checking ZFR7F-11 coppers, they're pretty close projection wise.
  19. I'd go for colder plugs, and probably keep the boost down a little until you get the 555's in. 15psi on bigger turbos is more air than on stock, so you might end up maxxing the injectors and detting. NGK's recommendation is 1 heat range colder for every additional 50-100bhp, so you really want a 7 range plug. ZFR7F-11 copper work OK.
  20. The one that goes to the EGR valve runs to the solenoid at the other end, so if you've junked that too you can just remove the line. If the valve's still there just leave the pipe disconnected and open to atmosphere, that will keep the valve shut
  21. Chris, From memory, the lines under the plenum are the coolant send / returns to the throttles. These can be removed and the feeds to them put straight on to the turbo sends. There is a vacuum gallery on the RHS at the side - this is the vacuum and atmospheric line to the EGR / AIV solenoids (off RHS throttle body and RHS turbo inlet). This can be junked if you remove those systems. I can't think what vacuum lines might be under the plenum. There is a 3mm line off the LHS throttle body that goes to to carbon cannister - again that can be removed if you junk that. If you can describe roughly where they go or show a pic I might be able to tell better. Basically if you remove all the emmissions stuff you end up with very few vacuum hoses: 2x1/4" to the 2 recircs. 1x3mm to FPR 1x3mm to Fuel pulse damper 1x3mm to boost gauges/controller.
  22. Sounds as though maybe your idle control valve isn't working. When it's cold, it's running on air through the warm up vavle, then when that closes it stops. You may be able to open up the bypass screw a bit to keep the revs up. Also chack the connector on the idle valve, they're often broken.
  23. Lol. Anyway, if it dosen't make it go faster then whats the point!
  24. If you can get it to me I can sort it out for you. Or try grasshopper at Leigh, shouldn't be far to travel.
  25. Contact Leon at ALUNOX if you want something similar, he'll be able to make one up for you. 07811196727
