  1. why you taking them off mate?
  2. Honestly, without wanting to sound like a complete tosser, price isnt too much of an issue. About £2.5k with tyres is the budget My faves at the moment are all 18x8.5 front and 18x10 rear: Volk TE37's TA (black with a red line around the lip) Nismo LMgt4's in Bronze Work Emotion CR's in Bronze But ive known about these wheels for ages, I really want to know what else people have come across that suit the zed and hit the criteria im looking for Cheers peeps, keep'em coming
  3. do a search mate, youll get all your answers there
  4. if you want an evo go for the 3 or 5, avoid the 4. Big end journals and main bearings are weak, AYC pumps are prone to failure and the brakes are aweful! R32 all the way mate
  5. i knew it wouldnt take Mac that long to pipe up on this topic. Its abit close to his heart, bless his cottons
  6. night fella. anyone else suffering like me, or are you all just nocternal
  7. my head hurts! well if you can read any english marin, welcome to the site Nick
  8. im just too impatient, i could save for them, but i want them NOW!!! actually i need a word in your shell... check your PM in about 5 min
  9. i got man flu and cant bloody sleep. found myself drooling over a set of bronze LMgt4, trying to figure out how i can afford them :headvswal
  10. Guys and Gals. Ive come across a bit of a dilemma today. I refurbed my wheels the other month and brought the lip on them back to a mirror finish, and they do look good. BUT after a week of using the car without cleaning it, they have started to pit again, and even after a good polish, there not quite as good as they were when i first refurbed them. Now, i was going to change my wheels later this year for a set of UltraLite Nurburgs with black centers (the same as topless has got) the thing is, as much as i love the look of wheels with polished lips and how they enhance the look of how wide the wheels are, I just cant be arsed in polishing them everytime i clean the car. Now what i want is a set of wheels that DONT have a polished lip, or deep dish style, but are profiled in such a way that they show off the width of the wheel. Kinda how the rear of this Lambo are So peeps, Over to you Nick
  11. Nope, honest to god. MDF. My best mate has bee a carpenter for years, and he was with me on this meet. I didnt stop laughing for an hour. The uprights of the spoiler and screwed on from underneath the spoiler, which you can see when you look underneath it.
  12. WTF have you been smoking today duffer?
  13. so when is the rebuild scheduled for then fella?
  14. Oh and the owner of that green scooby has outdone himself. That stupid spoiler is made out of MDF!!!!!!!
  15. This is pretty much the car that made me want a 300zx, It was the cover car of the first edition of Banzai Magazine. I think its changed a bit, dont remeber it having those bonnet vents And the best car ive EVER driven, which also happens to look best in WHITE
  16. Mate the money you would save in using a little diesel car instead of using the zed as a daily driver would pay for a new house!!!
  17. mate, there is always away. Sorn it (obviously) Speak to your insurance company to see if they can do a discounted rate for it being in storage and not being moved, my old company did, but i never thought of asking until it was too late Find somewhere to store it, surely one of your family or mates has got some garage space that you could rent off them? The cost of storing it is next to nothing mate. honestly, look in to it
  18. When did you change your exhaust???? Is that and old photo or have you recently changed to a twin exit???
  19. thats some sound advice! i did the same, bought my first house, didnt think i could have afforded to keep the zed, so i sold it. After a few months i figured out that i could have afforded to store it in a mates garage. Granted my new zed is much better than my old one was, but i spent ALOT of money on it. If you sell yours, the likely hood in you finding another example in the same condition as yours, is little to none. Take your time and evaluate your options before you think of selling Good luck fella
  20. Mate youll be fine. You know the subject, otherwise you wouldnt have got this far! Fingers crossed for you fella
  21. what a useless invention I want one!
  22. Thats just stunning, ive loved dukes from when i was a nipper, especially the old ones. There is a legit Maserati single in my local mounted on the wall, just a beautiful peice of engineering. Ill try and get a pic of it on sunday, but Maserati have asked to buy it so they can put it into there museum
