  1. Smithy, how do you find the KAD setup? How do they hold up when used in anger or on a track? Im contemplating a set of these but i cant find anyone who can give any decent feedback on them, especially when it comes to using them in anger on a track Cheers mate Nick
  2. then no traction control will save you. Not even some of the best stability management/ TC combo's can save you from spinning on diesel. I know, because someone put diesel on a skid pan instead of the detergent they are ment to, and it all went a bit wrong

  8. cheers peeps, it got the better of me last night, but i just felt i needed to vent some frustrations that i just cant let out on my nearest and dearest. But cheers anyway
  9. Today has been one of the hardest days in my live. I recently decided that i wanted to meet up with my estranged father. Its been around 10 years since we've seen each other, i just thought it was about time to bite the bullet and make contact again. I was about to start putting the ground work in with my mum (it was a particularly nasty breakup) to make things as easy as possible when i planned to make contact over the next few months. My dad lives in Warrington where i grew up and i still have all my immeadiate family there, bar my mum sister and step dad. Anyway, to cut a long story short, i made contact with a friend whos dad is my dads best mate, just to see how the land lay and make sure that me making contact isnt going to cause problems with my dads new life. The consensus i got was that it was a good idea, so i passed on my mobile number so it could be given to my dad so he could contact me. This afternoon, i got a phone call off my dads best mate. In the long and painfull conversation that took place, i find out that my dad has been diagnosed with cancer of the stomach, liver and lymphnodes. When he was diagnosed, he was told he had about 4 month to live, and this was 6 weeks ago. That now means that according to the doctors estimate, i now have only 8 weeks to reconsile with my dad before he dies. I have never felt so cheated in my life. I have no idea why im writing this, i have all the support in the world with missus (jodie) my mum sister step dad in laws etc etc etc, and yet i cant get my frustrations into words i can say out loud. Its all stuck inside my head and i cant get it out. Why is it, that someone who i truthfully dont really know anymore, has effected me in such a way. Is it because i was ready to sort things out and then to be handed such a kick in the *****x, is it the regret that i hadnt done it sooner. Why cant i deal with this with my work head on. I have to pass news like this on to relatives of deceased people on a fairly regular basis and i can disconnect myself from the emotion, because it is a stranger to me. Thats how i get around it. Why is it i cant do it with someone i hardly know. Why the **** hasnt anyone from my dads side of the family let me and my sister know sooner!!!!!!! I gotta stop writing now, im loosing all perspective and focus. Speak Soon Nick
  10. Ok, ill see what i can sort out for an afternoon do at a pub or something. I cannot see me attending this now. Life has thrown me a curve ball and i gotta deal with it. But ill try and sort what i can out, or maybe postpone it for another time if everyone is cool with that. Nick

  13. Peeps, Sorry this is a bit late notice, but i thought i'd gauge interest anyway I was thinking we could do a Breakfast run that starts at the north of our ground and runs down some fantastic roads down to the south of the ground. So this is basically the route i thought would be best, i know the roads well as i use them for my biking blats, and it basically covers most points on the ground so people dont have to travel miles to meet up if they dont want to. http://routeplanner.rac.co.uk//showrouting.php?map24_sid=CWnhLbJ2AQAV/Eupw0C/OlIeoYct1ywPXL7PoRkiyeu4PT9cn8PNb916gnnGlwQ3NhMIiEjmWyNOdGq8mb9miA&t=a310b867393dc46808fcaba70f1358f7 The route starts at juntion 5 of the M3 (Hook), there is a big layby there for people to meet before we set off, for those of us that live at the top of the ground. We then go through Odiham to Alton (lovely fast twisty road) and use this as the second check point for people to join in From Alton we'll go down the A31 to Winchester (3rd check point) From Winchester down the A272 across Petersfield. This is an AWESOME road, one of the best in Hampshire. The final leg is from Petersfield down the A3M to Southsea onto the coast by the ferry port where there is a few nice places to have a nice bit of Brekkie! I was thinking of starting at around 08:00 at Hook and hopefully getting down to South Sea by 10:30 - 11:00. If these time prove a bt difficult, then ill try and tweek it so we can accomodate as many as possible. Let me know what you think Nick
  14. why are the chipping options on the 16 bit so limited then??? Ive got a 16 bit ECU and will want to chip it at somepoint, but is it going to be cost effective or should i just go for a piggyback ecu?

  16. Natural History museum is very good, but expect to take 2/3rds of a day up. If you can book in advance for the London Eye is something well worth doing. And take a walk down the embankent from the millenium bridge down to westminster bridge then over to parliment square. That should keep you going for a while
  17. Yep deffo works mate, i put the missus on and it brought the insurance down £100, then i told them i have access to another car, and i ride my 'blade regularly which brought it down another £70
