1. ME ME ME!!! Going with 12 mates thursday till monday, and i cant wait. Im camped by arnarge (the yellow section in the middle of the circuit)
2. Get yourself on here then mate! http://firebladeriders.forumotion.com/index.htm Great forum for all fireblades.
3. Good lad. A blade owner as well. This is my 97 RRV. This has still got to be one of the best bikes ive ever ridden, its effortless and raw at the same time. It looks a bit dated now, but i love it to pieces
4. 4 years ago, after doing alot of MX when i was younger, i started my road biking life, and my first road bike was a ducati 750 monster, then after 2 years came my current FireBlade and i sold the monnie, Ive now partially headed back to the italian darkside, i still have my blade, but i have now added this to the collection. This my friends is a Ducati 998 Matrix Edition. One of ony 150 in the world, and as far as im aware only one of 5 in the country. And its an absolute ****ing animal. I thought my old 750 monnie was torquey, this thing is insane! Now all i gotta do is wait for some nicer weather again! Enjoy............... i know i will :D
5. Cheers andy, In an ideal world id probably like to run at a 450rwhp/450lbsft, so tubs etc would come later, infact, ALOT later but if a 2.5 system can handle that then there seems like no point going for the 3 inch. Cheers again

Good race mate, well worth watching, but if your going for a gixxer thou, go for the K6, the new one is horrible to ride and feels cheap and nasty!
7. Yeah, i think it was at Jerez. Edwards did it in qualifying and Hayden did it in the race.
8. Ideally i would love a Porsche 993 turbo, but on a realistic budget i would have a Porsche 968 CS
9. This is Jorge Lorenzo during the China GP qualifying, If anything deserves a round of applause, this does, especially considering he had a broken foot and a badly sprained ankle Id be needing a 4 pack of andrex after that!!!
10. Guys, Ive decided on the exhaust im going to get, but im unsure of the following Should i go for 2.5 inch diameter pipes or the 3 inch diameter? (talking about the actual pipe sections as opposed to the tail pipes) Obviously im going to have to go for the 3 inch de cats with suitable downpipes, but is there such a thing as having too little back pressure in the system? This is the rough engine spec i intend to be running to match the exhaust: Z1 side mounts Nismo 555's (for a '95 car which i think are running 610cc's) JD ecu K&N intake and probably Profec boost controller at around 15-16 psi mark aquamist water injection And prob an uprated fuel pressure regulator Now im taking a stab in the dark at these should make the engine run over 380fwhp and 350 lbs/ft (guessing from how steve 300zx '96 running 406fwhp) Now with the rough guess in figures, would i be getting anywhere near the maximum flow capacity of a 2.5 inch system, or would a 3 inch system be worth investing in? Over to you... Nick
11. Yep that was me, the MR2 is sounding sweet bud!
12. Good on you little man! glad to see a smile on your face, just make sure you buy a zed a GT5! Rock on Nick
13. Ive got the same problem chris, but ive had no need to adjust them yet. Personally, i would try and get rid of as much rust as possible first with a wire brush to stop any more crap getting in the threads of the adjustable plate. The only thing i could suggest is patience. You could alwats try the shock tactic and hit it with a hammer and try and break whatever corrosion is connecting them together, and lots of penetrating oil. Best of luck Nick
14. I think one of the best fights ive seen is when Chuck Liddel beat Tito Ortiz. The iceman rocks
15. Ive driven both, and to be honest, i think the electronics in the GTR's take away from the driving experience instead of adding to it. The only thing keeping you on the road in a zed when pushing the limits is skill and experience, not a computer telling each wheel how much grip is available. The only thing you have in a zed to tell you that is what the car feeds back to the driver

what a goon!
17. Cheers for taking copious amounts of photos dave, and was good to meet you :duffer: Enjoyed today, the time shot past! Shame no traders turned up to the show, would have given something else to look at apart from impreza's :D Anyway, cheers to the people who turned up, was good to meet you all, its always nice to put some more faces to the names, and lunch was goooooooooooooooood! Nick
18. I would have been interested, but im at the Le Man 24hr which is at the same time.
19. Well considering over the last couple of days every weather man has said its going to piss it down, theyve all made a massive u turn, and it now should stay nice all day :D. http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/se/basingstoke_forecast_weather.html So just a quick reminder, ill be at Jnc 5 of the M3 from 10:40 till 10:50 for anyone who wants to follow me up to the Wellington Monument, and we should be there for 11:00 to meet everyone else. See you guys later Nick
20. Happy birthday Fella's :duffer: :duffer: :duffer:
21. Speak to Mr F at MJP. When ive got some free funds, ill be getting a new manual unit, which is near as nick it £80. Not sure about how much electronic ones are, but its worth asking HTH Nick
22. And ive got one coming soon as well :D Jaffa, ill have to pop round and have a look when im next at work
23. As far as im aware, it should be the same setup as last year. There was no allocated parking or stalls, its a big open field and clubs generally organise themselves. It opens at 10am, so if people want to meet up prior to going in at say 11am so we have better chance of parking all together. May i suggest the wellington monument on the A33. If your coming from the M4, after travelling down the A33, instead of turning left at the roundabout that leads to the country park, go straight ahead and its about half a mile on the right hand side. If your coming from the M3, get off at Junc 5 and take the turning for Odiham (1st exit if your heading towards junc 6/4th exit if your london bound) and you will see a parking layby on the right. I will be there from 10:40am and leaving at 10:50 with the intention of meeting everyone else at the Wellington Monument at 11:00. If you get stuck, give me a buzz on my mobile and ill try and help you as best as i can. Nick 07810 334043
