I've left it over night now, have checked has plenty of oil and water, which it has. It will turn over, and nearly gets going but then dies. Will buggered big end bearings cause this? Or is something else dead? Nick

If its the big ends its not to bad because i'm virtually stripping the engine down to the crank when i'm going the heads. If there is anything else wrong with it. Its going, no excuses. Its by by zed. :(

Car over heated again due to a blown head gasket. Started the engine from cold and i've got a rattle coming from the engine. Oil pressure is low and it doesn't sound good. Any ideas. Nick

3 days ago i decided to try and resurect my blitz type3 split rim's which were looking sorry for themselves after winters salt abuse. Autosol didn't make a dent so i bought some new meguair's next gen metal polish. This stuff is the shit! Makes autosol look like fairy liquid. Highly recommended to all. My rim's are back to the mirror finish that they should be. Ate it!

3m do a window tint called securifilm. You can get it through demon tweeks. My mates got it on his altezza. But it makes your windows like double glazing. Rock hard mate.

Where were you mark? Hampshire police are notoriously anal about speeding. Hand held's are generally used as a guide for a reason to tug you and check you out. You got 17 days though

Like i said transmisson is not my strong point. Are you talking about where you take off the leather gaitor cover off and glue down the plastic gear "grid" that the stick slots into? Cheers mate.

If it was the prop wouldn't it do it in every gear. Don't think its the syncro the gear change is smooth as silk. Apart from the gear's them selves what other rotating parts are there

Oh and it doesn't do it when the clutch is disengaged or in neutral. I can't think of any other symptoms at the moment. Any more ideas. Oh its only got 57k on the clock. Cheers chaps!

Nothing out of the ordinary. Just appears to be noise at the moment. No excess vibration through the stick either. Changes in and out of both ok

Oh i forgot it's a TT. And just to clarify it doesn't do it in 1st 3rd or 5th. Any ideas?

Its a 94 j spec manual and I'm getting a distinctive whirring noise in 2nd and 4th, which gets a speeds up as rpm increases but doesn't get louder. Is it r.i.p gearbox?

Sounds about right. In standard trim its about 181 per ton. The zed need's a diet. My mate keeps going on about his bloody westfield.
