i dont know being a manual owner, but its probably a saftey feature being an auto. will it let you have they key out if its neutral and not park, just a suggestion anyway jonce long time no speak hows things???

Hey all, Well after nearly cooking my engine and warping the heads, which at this point in time everything seems ok, i discovered that the immeadiate loss of coolant causing the said near meltdown i need found a hole in my rad the size of a 50p piece, nice! :shock: Therefore i need a new rad so what are my options, ranging from bottom range basic nissan OE replace ment, to mid range ally rad to top notch koyo style jobbies. people experience with any would be appriciated. i need to make a choice asap as my zed is my daily runner, and im currently using a jag xjs v12 convertable or a 306 td. again...nice! :cry: anyway options and opinion wanted and needed. :rolleyes: cheers lads and ladettes nick :duffer:

bubbles were you going through hartley wintney just after 7 thiss evening, i think i might have seen you. pearly white with vey shiny alloys??? i was in a nearly invisible due to its commonality pug 306, due to the zed having overheated due to a hole in the rad. but i think it was you

I have to say they clean up better than mine. Blown a hose and overheated it. Should be sorted soon though

its difficult to subscribe when your zed dies and is likely to cost more that i can afford. and that paypal blows. it still wont let me use my barclay card to pay!

question ive just fitted my blitz SBC-ID and powermeter, thanks to zedhot, but im having difficultys with the powermeter. it gives usefull stuff like speed, power, various timing stuff. on the speed side the speed digital screen seems to make accurate readings till about 70 then jumps around and hesitates. the next screen down from that is the power and speed screen which shows both in one screen. the speed on this is reading what my dash speedo reads, which is mile out as i think the converter is buggered eg shows im doing 120mph when im doing about 80. the result of this is it is totally messing up my power readings, apparently my max power is over 1000bhp. to add a real twist to this tale, i cant under stand why. the powermeter takes its reading directly off the vehicle speed pin on the ecu. i know its not a knackered sensor as its brand new. any ideas cause its really bugging me!!! cheers nick

just to add to all the grief a chap i know fom an old job is still critical after having a car Vs tree accident in his rx8. condolences to all. NOTE TO ALL: its christmas in 23 days and only 28 till next year, lets keep it sensible on the roads especially this time of year with the road conditions. RIP

At just after midnight today a navy zed stopped and waved on the minley road roundabout and i was in a red zed heading toward the blackbush airpost. Just to say hello.

another option, and my way theyre a couple of quid cheaper but ive got bridgestone potenza so-3's on the front and am about to get them for the rear to get rid of my crappy avons. but they excellent in the wet and dry and seem to be wearing very well. and i think they were rated top tyre by pretty much every mag, but saying that toyos were second. personal choice i guess

chaps, im fitting my boost controller and power meter (blitz sbc III) i need to know what pin number the speed sensor is on the ecu please help asap cheers nick

Guys could you help me out. i need a wiring diagram for the zed so i can fit my alarm. and i can guess what your going to say, get a pro to do it, well i am but to save time and hassle i said id try and source a wiring map. has any one fitted this alarm or any experience fitting alarm on the zed. any help would be nice cheers Nick :duffer:
