  1. Quick one matey, im helping a mate refurb his calipers on his lecagy turbo. His pistons are really rusty, whats the best way to clean them up while keeping the surface smooth?
  2. i know theyre not in the south west, but these boys are top notch http://www.spitandpolish.co.uk/ nick
  3. you gunna try and modify those TT calipers then gaz?
  4. Mark Wahlburg. I think hes a good actor, but he has been in some real shite films. Not seen shooter, think it was in the cinema for all of a week. Some mates of ine said shooter was good. TBH the 2 best films hes been in recently was 4 brothers and the departed - the latter being one of my top 10 fav films Nick
  5. sh1tholes!!! i dare someone to try and transplant an engine out of one of those into a pooey saxo!!!!
  6. sound like the 02 sensors mate. he replacement downpipes shoud have threaded holes for them.
  7. Good luck matey
  8. The VR-s is an awesome bit of kit, and bloody easy to eek more power out of. Very reliable (same engine as the Audi TT 1.8 TT 225bhp engine) Youll never fool petrol heads by de-bagding it, but most petrol heads will know its no ordinary skoda and a very capable car. De badging it just fool the "badge yuppies" out there as you blitz past them in theyre silly 325 beemers etc Go for it
  9. Im not a fan of Japspeed stuff, i dont think theyre that well made, and they dont sound that nice (sorry for those of you that have one) TBH if you want loud and a quality noise, you have to go single exit! My personal Fave is the HKS super dragger, but theyve stopped making them. I think it was replaced by the Hi Power system, but theyres so much choice out there its what ever suits your style hth Nick
  10. thought as much. you a reading this month? (blatant thread hi jack i know, but hey!)
  11. Theres another place in Keighley called Torque of Keighley, ive not heard much about them, but are they just a different trading name for Keighley sports and performance, or a seperate garage all together? Nick
  12. What year is yours? obviously if its a pre electronic HICAS then id say it is less likely to be that. What condition are your shocks in, when i first had mine, one of the rear shocks was on its was out, and it had similar symptoms to yours Nick
  13. 26 mm? ive got bigger disks on my pedal cycle!! lol
  14. just been reading up on this smithy, and i may be wrong, but it looks like after 1991 NA discs were made the same thickness as the TT. Saying that i dont know what the diameter difference is between the two
  15. tbh i dont think id bother bud. I dont know what the spec difference is between the n/a and tt calipers, but im going to guess theyre both still 4 pots. Personally id go and overhaul your ali ones and get a good set of Goodrige braided hoses and brake cylinder stopper and a set of Performance Friction Brake grooved discs with pads. The only other worth while thing i would think of doing is go for the whole R33 GTR brembo option. I remember how shite the brakes were on mine, and i know if i get another, the brakes will be the first thing ill be uprating! Anyway, hope your well bud! Nick
  16. or the injector connections, the pins on the plugs corrode fairly easily and turn green, making them cut out intermitently causing the miss. OR theres the CAS ( i think its called that, its been a while since ive been under the bonnet of a zed) which sits on the front of the timing belt cover, same thing as above, check the pins on the connectors arent corroded. I cant remember why that can cause lumpy running, but it was the cause of one of the many problems i had with my old zed. HTH nick
  17. Ive never seen this one before!?! http://www.z32-zone.com/original_parts/finalflag_aero-1.jpg not sure on this one, but i think i like it. No idea who makes it tho
  18. its obviously a matter of taste! My point of view was that vini has got a paint job that splits the car with a 'fairly' straight line. The C2 uses fairly straight lines on the front end, hence why i think it would suit! anyway i dont think skyline dave would be too happy with the slating of his front bumper!! hahaha
  19. im not a fan tbh. The second one doesnt suite the 300'z lines. It makes it look like a euro box, something youd see on a vw lupo or something. I think something like this http://www.veilside.com/veilsideusa/aero/nissan/300cifront.jpg would suit the lines of your car with your paint job. Straight edges and suitble curves.
  20. When its in the dark, it really shows how bad the paint job is. Its not a bad idea, but its a bit "pointless show car" gimmick. Oh and its Dan Joyce from Dirty Sanchez on MTV. nobber!
  21. and rossi is in last racing with 3 broken bones in his hand and a broken wrist! ROSSI IS GOD!
  22. let me know when shes back up and running and ready for sale, i may well bite your arm off
