Mate i couldnt agree more. I hate the fact that i spend hours upon hours putting these people in front of a court, for THE COURT to give them a light penalty that wont make the slightest difference. Any copper will tell you that, we do all the hard work and graft, only for it to be undone by a magistrate or judge because of a)theres no prison space or b) they dont have the balls to hand out a significant penalty! :headvswal That is by far the most annoying thing about my job! :mac1:

I never said that, infact i have said all along, if i get caught, its because what ive done is illegal, end of! (of course no one else has ever sped before have they! :nelson: ) Unfortunatly not, that particular run was picking up a lady who lived in hook, and bringing her to her son who was on his death bed after being hit by an uninsured driver! Blue lights make speeds like that possible my friend : :rolleyes:

Sorry mate, But the same old posts come up every couple of months, and the same old people wingr about being hard done by by the police, and how it funds theyre christmas parties blah blah blah :o It gets very boring after a while, and as many of you know, im a copper. And i have got other things to do, like dealing with people who cant control there kids, and nicking the smack head thiefs, robbers burglers rapists and paedophiles, oh and never mind the people who are intent on driving with no licence and insurance who put up our premiums. But unfortunatly the public winge about people having small number plates and other minor misdemeaners to their local MP, who then get in touch with the local Commander, who says that if we dont stick people on, we get put on "development plans". And if we dont meet this "development plans" we get the sack. So if you would be so kind to tell me, when were all sacked for not dealing with the minor issues, who exactly will you call or come running to when you get a smack round the chops in the pub, or your kids get run down by some nobber with no licence or insurance??? :confused: Dont forget, by winging at the police, all your doing is shooting the messanger. We dont make the rules, we just enforce them. Rant over......... for the time being! :rant:

So what your saying is that you knew the plate was illegal, and yet your winging that you were penalised for it? I personally have a small plate on my bike, but i know if i stuck on for it, its because its illegal. end of. If you dont want a ticket, dont have a small plate. IT IS that simple.

Oh and whats the best way to take pistons out that are already pushed in all the way in. The calipers are off the car so i cant push them out using the brake pedal. Cheers nick

Quick one matey, im helping a mate refurb his calipers on his lecagy turbo. His pistons are really rusty, whats the best way to clean them up while keeping the surface smooth?

Mark Wahlburg. I think hes a good actor, but he has been in some real shite films. Not seen shooter, think it was in the cinema for all of a week. Some mates of ine said shooter was good. The VR-s is an awesome bit of kit, and bloody easy to eek more power out of. Very reliable (same engine as the Audi TT 1.8 TT 225bhp engine) Youll never fool petrol heads by de-bagding it, but most petrol heads will know its no ordinary skoda and a very capable car. De badging it just fool the "badge yuppies" out there as you blitz past them in theyre silly 325 beemers etc Go for it

Im not a fan of Japspeed stuff, i dont think theyre that well made, and they dont sound that nice (sorry for those of you that have one) TBH if you want loud and a quality noise, you have to go single exit! My personal Fave is the HKS super dragger, but theyve stopped making them. I think it was replaced by the Hi Power system, but theyres so much choice out there its what ever suits your style hth Nick

What year is yours? obviously if its a pre electronic HICAS then id say it is less likely to be that. What condition are your shocks in, when i first had mine, one of the rear shocks was on its was out, and it had similar symptoms to yours Nick
