  1. I love the 5's but im going to be different and say the Multispoke. Cant beat a nice bit of motorsport heritage to bring to the zed. Never really liked the vortex. Everytime I see them i think BMW.
  2. I have to admit, i've always prefered the looks of the R33. But to get a good R33 is way out of my budget. The reason i have decided to go for the V-spec R32 is mainly because of the Brembo Brakes and the tweeked ATTESSA system, which is apparently not as intrusive as the ATTESSA system on the R33. Cheers for the inut, keep it coming!
  3. As youve owned both, what are the differences in how they drive. Pro's and Cons please Tommy Cheers Nick
  4. I think my best sighting is when i had a "play" with an all black Bugatti Veyron on the M3 on the way home on my 'Blade. It was safe to say it blew me off the motorway, and ive never smiled so much after having my arse handed to me on a W16 quad turbo'd platter!!!!!
  5. I have emailed him, but i got no response, so i spoke to Lee @ Import-ance instead, who gave me some usefull advice (cheers again matey) I just wanted to see what other people thought
  6. Ive been looking around for a new ride for a while now, and ive come down to two cars: Nissan Skyline R32 GTR V-spec. AND Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo. Now any of you who know me know ive already had a 300zx TT, and as much as i loved it, the relationship wasnt always what id call happy, and it cost me alot of money (which i will admit was mostly my own fault) but i was completely smitten with the car. The reason i have come down to these two are as follows: 300zx: I know the workings of the 300 pretty well through all the 'bad' times i had with it, so that experience i think is invaluable. I STILL love the overall look of the 300zx and it doesnt take too much work to get rid of some of its features that make it look a touch dated. The ride was firm yet you could do big milage journeys without too much hassle. And Finally, even though the back seats are tiny, you can get the kids in there, or a baby seat R32 GTR: I've always loved the R32 ever since i used to watch the Jap Touring Car Championships round an old school friend of mine, and man did it kick some arse! It not a pretty car, but its not in your face and is verging on a bit of a sleeper car. Theres alot more stuff available for the GTR than the 300zx. Its still got that small amount of room to fit the kids in the back. Its a new experience for me, never owned a 4wd performance car as well. Once again it doesnt take alot to bring it a bit more up to date. Now I know im posting this on a 300 forum, so i know the opinions may be slightly biased, but I am looking for OBJECTIVE and CONTRUCTIVE responses for this thread! SO PLEASE NO "GET THE 300 COZ ITS THE BEST" type posts :x: :nelson: Unfortunatly i have not had the opportunity to drive these cars back to back, so doing a direct comparison for myself is going to be hard to do. In short i'm relaying on some of you who have driven a R32 and a 300zx, and PLEASE let me know your honest opinions of your experiences. So over to you guys  :duffer: :hyper: Nick
  7. I mean what in gods name was this bloke thinking! http://www.gmmodernmuscle.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2779&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 ive only just stopped crying with laughter! :D :D :D
  8. they must have had Allah-ff when they thought this one up!
  9. Have a gander at this http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=17173 Now make sure you read the comments link at the bottom of the page! Nick
  10. Thats not what i was saying that my shit dont tick at all. I break traffic laws all the time. All i was saying was that if and when i get caught, i accept it instead of bitching about it. nothing more.
  11. He'll be back. I had many a bitter experience with my zed, and i still came back......TWICE! Shame it came to that tho, this is still the best forum i belong to!
  12. Mate i couldnt agree more. I hate the fact that i spend hours upon hours putting these people in front of a court, for THE COURT to give them a light penalty that wont make the slightest difference. Any copper will tell you that, we do all the hard work and graft, only for it to be undone by a magistrate or judge because of a)theres no prison space or b) they dont have the balls to hand out a significant penalty! :headvswal That is by far the most annoying thing about my job! :mac1:
  13. I never said that, infact i have said all along, if i get caught, its because what ive done is illegal, end of! (of course no one else has ever sped before have they! :nelson: ) Unfortunatly not, that particular run was picking up a lady who lived in hook, and bringing her to her son who was on his death bed after being hit by an uninsured driver! Blue lights make speeds like that possible my friend :
  14. Much appriciated fella! At least some one can the common sence to see we got a job to do. I accept the some people dont like the police, and tbh i couldnt care less, but when you come on a forum with apparently like minded people after a day of dealing with the oxygen theifs of this country, abd yet still manage to give such closed minded remarks as "its to fund there xmas party" and " havent they got anything better to do", it tends to get my back up a touch :headvswal
  15. Sorry mate, But the same old posts come up every couple of months, and the same old people wingr about being hard done by by the police, and how it funds theyre christmas parties blah blah blah :o It gets very boring after a while, and as many of you know, im a copper. And i have got other things to do, like dealing with people who cant control there kids, and nicking the smack head thiefs, robbers burglers rapists and paedophiles, oh and never mind the people who are intent on driving with no licence and insurance who put up our premiums. But unfortunatly the public winge about people having small number plates and other minor misdemeaners to their local MP, who then get in touch with the local Commander, who says that if we dont stick people on, we get put on "development plans". And if we dont meet this "development plans" we get the sack. So if you would be so kind to tell me, when were all sacked for not dealing with the minor issues, who exactly will you call or come running to when you get a smack round the chops in the pub, or your kids get run down by some nobber with no licence or insurance??? Dont forget, by winging at the police, all your doing is shooting the messanger. We dont make the rules, we just enforce them. Rant over......... for the time being!
  16. So what your saying is that you knew the plate was illegal, and yet your winging that you were penalised for it? I personally have a small plate on my bike, but i know if i stuck on for it, its because its illegal. end of. If you dont want a ticket, dont have a small plate. IT IS that simple.
  17. Sounds like ive missed something else! Whats ryan done now?
  18. Liking that ALOT!
  19. Oh and whats the best way to take pistons out that are already pushed in all the way in. The calipers are off the car so i cant push them out using the brake pedal. Cheers nick
