I've never heard of Nixxan, maybe you mean Nexen? Nexen are an economy range tyre, not too bad, I've never used them but have used their sister brand Roadstone on my daily drive for the past 50k miles. Look at http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/ for an idea on the quality of most of the available brands.

Well that's it - I think.....how much is it going to cost someone to have it all put right for them..... My own sills, wheel arches and rear quarter panels were in a much worse condition and with help I managed to repair them but did pay a body shop to fill and paint the car after.

Hmmm, no great surprise - is it :sad: However, it is certainly repairable - looking at these photographs.

Robert, I had a loan of a '53 plate E320 CDI with 172K on it, a couple of weeks ago.........what a machine :drool: The ride quality was super smooth, it pulled like train and the sound from that straight six tractor engine was brilliant :D Full leather upholstery, marble effect trim and a lovely, smooth changing autobox....................I'm converted! After the Rover's gone (at least another year) I'll be looking at an E class. Andy
