  1. Hi all, I've got the Zed now, sitting in my garage in Dunfermline. It's all taxed, tested, street legal and working fine. Drove 400 miles from Norwich with it and it drove well with no problems . Not a lot to do to it, but there are a few small things to sort out and bits and pieces to tidy up. I look forward to seeing you all soon :) Regards - Andy
  2. Hi guys and gals, I bought my first Zed yesterday, Neil Morris' black (with added sparkly bits) '93 UK TT with 93,000 on the clock. I drove 400+ miles from Norwich to to home in Dunfermline and the car ran lovely all the way. I never went faster than Eighty and the Zed returned a not too bad 24mpg :) That's with me and a full set of standard wheels and tyres taking up all the seat and boot space. Spent today, washing and cleaning it, talking to the next door neighbour (whose mate once had one) about it and generally trying to find out what all the buttons do. Photos to follow, but if you look under Neil Morris in the member's list - you'll find some of Neil's photos there. Thanks very much Neil, for looking after the car so well. You've not left me a lot to do but I'm sure that I'll find some bits and pieces to do.
  3. Also received my pack today - thank you. :)
  4. You won't do any better than Call of Duty - World at War ...out this Friday :hyper: The previous Call of Duty game was fantastic - so immersive.
  5. It does seem a bit hit and miss with them though. They were looking for £500+ from me, Elephant were quoting £223 :D Mind you, I'm going to try and get it sub £200 if I can!
  6. That's me. Flight now organised, see you as arranged. Regards - Andy
  7. Not I, my Zed's a couple of weeks away
  8. Hi and welcome, I should have my Zed in couple of weeks ....can barely wait :hyper: Best of luck in finding a good one.
  9. What a gorgeous colour  The alloys seem familiar but I can't quite place them
  10. Hi there, CrashCourse // Andy // Dunfermline // coming soon...1993 UK TT in black
  11. The new owner here :hyper: I'd looked at a fair few Zeds but Neil's just kept on coming back to the top of the pile. A lovely looking motor - I'm sure you'll agree. I've no great modification plans, I was looking for a good, solid car to take out at weekends and enjoy ........I think that I've got the right car :D It gives us Scots another Zed to add to the collection and I look forward to attending meets and gatherings in the future. Many thanks to Neil for answering my many questions, I'm sure that I'll think of a few more when I pick up the Zed. See you all soon - Andy
  12. I'm quite surprised that there's been no comment on the tacky interior, for me - that would be the first thing to go.
  13. The car's looking great, something to aspire to ;)
  14. For my tuppence worth (that shows my age doesn't it), I'm facing much the same problem. Zeds are pretty scarce up here in Scotland, I looked at a couple this afternoon at a local "Import Specialist" and was not impressed :( To my mind, I'll probably end up buying a member's car or one that comes recommended by a member. There are many Zeds on Ebay and Autotrader but it would be all to easy to spend £1500 to £2000 and end up with an expensive dud. Better to allow another £1000+ and get something quality.
  15. Coming along to a meet sounds like a good idea, I'll keep my eyes open. Not worried ata all about being a mature driver, it has it's benefits - namely cheap insurance for large engined cars  Regards - Andy
  16. Thanks for that zx-eyes, What's the chance of picking up a zed in my required specs, auto, leather, unmolested for £2000 - £2500 ? Regards - Andy
  17. Thanks people, And where might I view these wondrous beasts that currently up for sale?
  18. Hi there, I thought that I'd register with the 'site, as I'm talking myself into buying my first 300Zx. I'm a mature driver and want to own one of these beasts before I become too old and decrepit  I've driven various Nissans over the past sixteen years, Primeras, Almeras, a QX and very briefly a 200Zx. I work in the Motor Trade and have spent at least twelve years dealing with Nissans. Anyway - the idea is to buy a 300Zx, turbo model, automatic, leather interior with all the toys. Hopefully you'll be able to advise me and maybe point me in the right direction in the near future. I look forward to the experience. Regards - Andy
