  1. Very nice looking Zed .......I'm envious of your engine bay.
  2. The tears are streaming down my face as we speak :rofl:
  3. Hi Guys and Gals, As the title says .........I fitted my new Koyo radiator bracket (from the Z Centre) tonight. A couple of issues that I'm sure you'll help me with : Firstly - using a standard bonnet prop clip in the slot furthest away from the rad cap secures the bonnet stay but not too well and the bonnet prop rests on the radiator cap ........any advice? Secondly - I still have the original viscous fan, cowl, etc... and had to detach the fan cowl from the radiator lip in order to get the bracket to fit correctly. Is that ok in these circumstances? All being well, I should have attached before and after photos. Thanks in advance - Andy
  4. Congratulations. :D I hope that you enjoy the job.
  5. I can beat that, just. I bought the Zed one month before my 53rd birthday.
  6. What a horrible thing to happen. :(
  7. My Zed runs lovely, no problems at all - she only gets out once or twice a week though. :(
  8. Summer........what's that. I live in Scotland.
  9. On a cold January morning, I'd rather have a nice warm backside than foldy mirrors. :D
  10. I bought my Zed from a club member, it runs like a dream and I have had only the slightest thing go wrong with it - but I bought it knowing that that particular fault was there. Using the previous owner's forum name, I was able to trace most of the history of the car since he bought it. Buy from a member, you'll not regret it. :D
  11. They can be in Dolby surround, 2.0, 5.1, AC3, with or without subtitles. You just have to look for the format that suits you. I take it that you are using torrents?
  12. Hi, it very much depends on the format and size of file that you download, 700Mb or thereabouts for as film is ok but a 4Gb file will look a lot better. I can't stand pixellation in films and videos, so I always download the best quality files that I can find. If they're not available as a good quality download - I wait until the good ones come out.
  13. There are two desktop PCs, two laptops, a PS3 and an Xbox 360 running in our house, constantly downloading this, that and everything. Thank goodness for Sky Broadband Max ........... £10 per month unlimited. :D
  14. Having only recently joined the Scottish Zed contingent, I had never met Colin but was looking forward to meeting a fellow member, sad to say that I now won't have the opportunity. My condolences to all his family and friends. Andy
  15. I've had my Zed for six weeks now and only driven it about eight times, mind you - the initial run was four hundred miles plus. So, at the moment, every time I drive the Zed - it's almost like the first time, better in fact.:D Too much happening today, to drive it, but hopefully tomorrow. :hyper:
  16. Hi all, I ordered some nice shiny parts for my Zed from Pete on Monday 22nd ..........and received them TODAY.:hyper::D Quality items at good prices and delivered in superfast time. Pete .............you're a bl**dy marvel, thank you - I know where I'll be buying all my shiny stuff now. Best regards - Andy
  17. I've an Apexi single cone air filter and a Mongoose rear exhaust system, neither are annoyingly noisy. The Apexi, to be honest, doesn't even register as being slightly noisy and the Mongoose exhaust gives out a nice "burble". Both appear to be quality items. :)
  18. I use Avast, it's free, regularly updated and takes up very little space. Couple that with Spybot and you've got pretty good protection. :)
  19. I've only had my Zed for four weeks and covered five hundred plus miles in it. No problems other than the usual window module and a flat battery (my fault). Looking at this forum, I keep on half expecting something to go wrong :( but I'm convinced that I've bought a good 'un. :) The previous owner (Neil Morris) has done a lot to the car and in general, the car feels like it has been well looked after. I think that it comes down to the obvious, buy a well looked after example and keep it that way.
  20. Nope, no problem with the autobox :D I'm just not used to having one ........yet. Overall, David thought that it is quite a tight car, which I'm well happy about. Incidentally, I tried to sneak up on that nice BMW on the way home but he was having none of it, that car can't half go.
  21. And ..............four Zeds :D
