  1. and bright light.
  2. I like the idea of one of those clever perspective shots. The sort of thing that looks like someone is holding a car on their hand. So, if we could get someone holding a bunch of cars ....
  3. Didn't look square enough to me, I reckoned it was what they used to call a Game port.
  4. Sounds like clutch slip to me, especially if it's around peak torque ~3250-3750 rpm.
  5. Looks like you have a basic video card, with only one analogue output.
  6. Happy Birthday Mike.
  7. If one is a PS/2 and one a USB then I think you can. You wouldn't get two pointers though.
  8. I didn't know they came in yellow. I have a spare white one though - it came free with a map of France that I bought a few weeks back.
  9. Joel, talk to me matey - I'll set you straight ! ;)

£1800 doesn't seem that bad, depending upon spec of turbos, of course ...

Unfortunately, removing the heads does not afford better access to the turbos. Ideally, you need to remove the engine, or with extra special perseverence it is possible to do the turbos from underneath. If you wanted to save time, and maybe some money, you may be better off removing the engine and doing all those jobs at the same time, as even doing the head gasket with the engine in is time consuming.
  12. He's talking rubbish. It had drums on the rear and discs on the front. And unlike some Citroens, the handbrake works on the rears, like a normal car.
  13. Clearly they are not interested in buying specialist cars of this age.

  15. That's the closest I've ever seen them get to lunching it on a test drive !
  16. It's extraordinary the lengths to which some people go to make themselves unpopular !
  17. If there is 12K stated on the policy then that has to be a contract, unless there are some clever wordy get-outs somewhere else ...
  18. Check for ECU error codes, that will tell you if there is a MAF problem. Also, if the MAF is faulty then you should be limited to 2400rpm.
  19. Ahh, yes forgot about that. Delimiting involves replacing the chip, so cost is the same as having a tuned chip - which sounds like what would be the best option for you anyway.
  20. In that case it could be a loose coilpack connection, which will also lead to fuel igniting in the exhaust. With the engine ticking over go round and disconnect each in turn to identify which one is giving problems. There is also an easy way to check whether the engine is running on 5 or 6 cylinders, rest your hand on the door sill, if there is uneven vibration it's not running on 6.
  21. You stand corrected ! LOL ;) Details of ECU mods are on my web site :- http://300zx.org.uk/ecu_maps.htm You could just raise the boost to about 11/12psi on the standard ECU, would need to be careful, use V-Power and listen out for det though. I ran my car like this for at least a year and it was fine.
  22. Not sure about this. Assuming that your speedo reads correctly on the 300kph dial then I don't see why you can't put the delimiter/converter box it, although it will mean that you then have a 300mph speedo, which may not be quite what you want !!!!!
  23. Blimey, that's even less than mine !!! And I think I only drove it three times ....
  24. Sounds like exhaust manifold broken somewhere, leading to lotsa noise and an airleak which causes the backfiring.
  25. Don't recollect seeing an LHD car here, except the guys from Holland passing through occasionally.
