  1. Yup, that explains it.
  2. No, just a hose, but yes, flush it both ways, as there may be some sludge in the bottom. You can also flush the whole system whilst you're at it.
  3. Yep, reverse flush it, plus blow all the dead flies, leaves and kak out of the vanes too.
  4. Yup, it's certainly furbar'd at the moment.
  5. I was gonna say follow these links :- http://300zx.org.uk/tech_04.htm But I see the buggers have changed them ..... So try here which is where the link should go :- http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.267
  6. Yes, looks like it arrived on the 2nd, the day after I last checked the bank ... Doh!
  7. I use Carole Nash, but they have managed to squeeze the premium up to £200 for this year.
  8. Jimmy, I think I have both - will have to check tonight.
  9. Methanol !!!!! Isn't that carcinogenic ? Do you mean ethanol ? Also, bread and sugar are good at killing the pain. Cold beer/water make it worse.
  10. I seem to remember us paying for a generator (or was it just a power supply?).
  11. OK, I've been dying to ask this for ages. If petroleum basestocks derive from that thick black chewy stuff under the North Sea, from where do synthetic basestocks come ?
  12. Usually due to loose coilpack connectors.
  13. I think the venue was great, the atmosphere was great - almost like a holiday camp, with the bars and entertainment, beach etc. etc. My only concern is the space available, this year was fine, next year it WILL be busier and I'm not sure how much more space they will find. So, all I would say is, book early to avoid disappointment !
  14. There are certainly some rubbish cars here, but they're not all ugly .... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/main.jhtml?xml=/motoring/2008/08/25/mfuglycars123.xml
  15. Put me down for a definite maybe, on the Saturday.
  16. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article700700.ece "Some chillis are fierce enough to make your eyes water. Anyone foolhardy enough to eat a whole Dorset Naga would almost certainly require hospital treatment."
  17. I grow lots of different types of chillis, some hot, some very hot, was thinking about trying some of these mega ones though.
  18. That looks like a sensor for the ignition timing, nothing to do with valves etc. anyway, as long as the crank has not been bent then the engine should be in good shape. So repair/replace that sensor and the timing case and it should be ok.
  19. Boost not going into positive territory often means a seized turbo ! :(
  20. Great work by everyone, was good to see you all on the Saturday, hope Sunday went as well.
  21. Yeah, too right, growing old disgracefully, I hope he had his moneys worth.
  22. I'm back ! Was there today, it's a great venue and it looks like everybody was having a wonderful time. No issue with tickets being available, just turn up and pay on the gate.
  23. Oh, I've finished - that's it !
  24. That's a great shame, I met Ken a few times and he was a very nice guy.
  25. Meeting at mine at 9am, come over if that time works for you.
