  1. No, the fan is only temp sensitive. What error code you you get after the ECU check light has come on ?
  2. Water temp sensor - double, double check the connector with the yellow plug on the front of the engine.
  3. ... than finding a ready shelled pistachio in the bag ?
  4. Love Al Murray, but didn't see it - I was in the pub. Oh, the irony !
  5. Have you checked the positive and earth connections - before you stump up for a new battery ?
  6. Agree, pretty much 100%. The 350 doesn't have much tuning potential without serious investment, but as an everyday car, it's pretty damn good.
  7. Hmmm, slightly jealous. I have thought about a UK version, but am just too mean to spend that much money on a car ....
  8. Well it's nice to have a modern car where everything works, you just get in and drive it until the next service. It is quite fast, quite good torque at the bottom etc, lacking in oomph in the midrange and the handle is a bit twitchy, but aside from that it's a good everyday car. I'm sure in years to come, when they are rarer and you can't just go buy a new one, then people will love them more and treat them as classics.
  9. Well if that's what it says, then give it a go. Make sure you use the right wires as one of them will be the 12v (probably) heater.
  10. I'm not sure that the O2 sensors would give a linear enough signal for a %age gauge. They are intended to give out what is basically a binary signal, eg on or off ! Somewhere in the online manual I think there is a nice graph of the output.
  11. Just to be clear, it's not mine it Karen's. It was her company car and has now done 90,000 since 2004 and is still going strong.
  12. There's nothing wrong with having a 350, you may not want it for the rest of your life, but why not try it out.
  13. Maybe the index is corrupt, had a quick look but couldn't work out if it is possible to clear/re-index it. A job for Pete perhaps ...
  14. With his spelling it probably does look like Carl !
  15. Ugh, that's not pretty. For some reason T thought you had a black Z - did you change it ?
  16. The Club has received notification of this event via post today. Discount tickets available in advance etc. Main details are here :- http://www.modifiedlive.co.uk/ Suggest people who are interested co-ordinate with the REO to decide whether we have enough for a club stand etc.
  17. Hmmm, I seem to have missed 95% of this thread. Agree that a ConZult test is that is what is really needed to identify the problem. Anyone in the Macclesfield area who can help Pete out ?
  18. Don't you have temp controlled fans ? Ought to be able to do it in software. If not, you probably ought to go for a 2 or 3 watt resistor.
  19. It's not McLaren, it's Ron Dennis.
  20. Thing is you probably go about twice as far on your gallon of diesel (compared with a Z anyway).
  21. Approx £30-36K over the model lifetime, so would guess a '92 would be around £32K, depending on spec, eg autobox was more expensive.
  22. Sorry, my fault, I have to do those payments manually and I usually only check once a week.
  23. This is absolutely typical, the FIA HATE Ron Dennis, any excuse he will get penalised and only Ferrari are 'allowed' to cheat. If Ron leaves McLaren they may have a better chance. This has been shown again and again. I feel very sorry for Lewis who won fair and square, even if he was lucky.
  24. Has she really got a pink tattoo there ?
