    714 mph !!!!!
  3. Not much room down there due to the ECU etc How about under the seat ?
  4. My god this is like "Mornington Crescent", for those of you who have ever listened to Radio 2 or 4 comedy. Think the show is called "I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue" ;)
  5. Finally got around to watching Top Gear last night and was very pleased to see BMW's get a good pasting at virtually all opportunities ! Even the new Z4 was pretty ugly although it seemed to work alright ...
  6. I'd always had it in my mind that it should be legal to shoot out inappropriately used fog/headlights ! :D

If you're over 25 (or is it 30? not sure!) try http://www.lifesure.com They definitely want import business at the moment. Tesco are also useful as they don't discriminate between UK/import. I tried Livingstones but they couldn't compete, which was a shame because that was one of the main reasons I joined the Z Club.
  8. That's 20,000 Y for the bar, plus 5,500 Y for the master cylinder brace part + 5% local tax. I have been in touch with Paul Farnworth (who supplied the 350Z brochures and the Z spark plugs) and he is looking into it. Realistically, I expect that the final price will be something nearer £150. If there is enough interest then I may organise a group buy. Not really sure ho much they will weigh, but postal rates are here :- http://www.post.yusei.go.jp/p_guide_2001/p08.htm#parcel
  9. One misty morning and the dopey gits leave them on for the next week .....

It's basically a safety lock - it's supposed to prevent the box from being knocked into gear when the engine is off. To move out of 'Park' whne the engine is off you need to push the little red lever downwards.
  11. Mmmm. I'd quite like one of those (beautiful in blue too!). Wonder how much clearance is needed and whether you have to trim the under bonnet sound deadening ? Group buy anyone ?

Like Gio, as a moderator I don't expect to have to impose my opinion on anyone and whilst I am always tempted to correct grammar and spelling I have limited my edits to only items that are particuarly offensive or are legally risky. So far I don't recollect having to alter anything as I've always been beaten to it by the others.
  18. http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/6/28286.html Live dangerously !
  19. They also claim to have a 350z (for £38K!!!!) but according to their stock list it's a Toyota ....
  20. The originals are loctite'd on and can be a real bugger to remove. Mine was so tight that it left the aluminium thread behind on the steel shaft. Easy to clean up once it's off of course. Then replaced it with a nice new Navan one from Courtesy.
  21. IT stuff, currently security but have been known to dabble in networking, system management, project management etc.
  22. Those pseudo silencers don't create any more back pressure, they just take a bit of the crackle out. Harve - get yerself an accurate boost gauge BEFORE you blow it up !
  23. Damn too late. Churchill may be a top dude but I still feel that his greatness is more about circumstance than true grit, determination and intelligence, but there you go. We all know that Brunel is the real daddy !
  24. When you think you have a flat battery it's always worth checking the connections first -both ends. Remove, clean and replace them.
  25. Dunk300zxtt has a good collection of these at :- http://bagpuss.swan.ac.uk/dunk300zx/ Clearly he has filespace and bandwith to burn ;) Might be worth checking to see if you have any new ones and perhaps suggesting that he add those to his collection.
