  1. So if, for the sake of argument, you were to have two 24 year old women, would that make you feel like an old man of 48, or perhaps like a 12 year old kid in a playground !?! :D (dream on!)
  2. Yes, they fit perfectly, no spacers required - have had them on mine for a few years now.

Too right - the bearing kit is approx £150 and the gearbox rear support bush , which can also contribute to the problem, is around £50. Both plus fitting of course.

It's pretty straightforward if you can get the car far enough off the ground. Need to take at least one of the exhausts off to get to it though.
  5. Most of the answers to your questions will be ljnked from this page :- http://www.300zx.org.uk/tech_17.htm
  6. I'm sure a creative person could make the seats work, the mirrors may be a little more tricky because of the positioning of the switch.
  7. Mark, Have you always had this or has something changed recently ? This must be on an import, right ? Because I think the lights you're describing are the daytime running lights. In mine I think the bulbs had been removed or a wire cut.
  8. Had a similar problem myself a while back, but discovered that there was just enough slot on the mounting holes to loosen the screws and more the flap back away from the catch. Works fine now.
  9. She had a few hits, like the "Fairlytale of New York" (with the Pogues) but most of her stuff wasn't really big chart type crap. http://www.kirstymaccoll.com/realindex.htm
  10. Lock mechanisms are best lubricated with graphite powder, not anything that is wet/oily/sticky etc, otherwise they'll just fill up with dust/fluff/crap and then sieze when you most need them. You ought to be able to buy appropriate lubricants from any locksmith.
  11. ooops
  12. No disrespect to Joe Strummer but he never really lit my fire, perhaps it just wasn't my type of music. However, I was very saddened by the death of Kirsty Macoll - another creative life cut drastically short, and just for a change not by booze or drugs.
  13. There is a link on the Aus site (http://www.aus300zx.com) about the little fan, plus I can probably fix the clock for you.

  15. Just a guess, not seen the film. Although in retrospect I seem to recollect that Nick Leeson was played by someone more famous. 16. Works fine for me - top work Craig !!!!
  17. Does anyone have a duff oil pressure sensor they can send me ? I'll like to see if they are repairable or perhaps there is an alternative more reliable replacement, or maybe I can re-engineer something more accurate.
  18. One of these would be nice :- http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CP&Product_Code=Z32-SHIFT
  19. By definition no BOV's will recirculate, it's just a question of whether you get the type that replace the OEM recircs or whether you get ones that are supplementary (ie install in the hardpipes) and you disable the recircs.
  20. Sometimes they seize and the groaning noise could be the drive belt slipping around the pulley. You could check with AndyZ to see whether he has a s/h one - I suspect a new one from Nissan would be unreasonably expensive ! ;)
  21. Well the bank must have been Bearings and so did he play Nick Leeson in Rogue Trader ?
  22. Hey, lets make a complicated set-up more complicated ! ;) Doesn't seem like a sound plan to me. Are the recircs really that unreliable ? Does the 'goose honk' indicate a performance affecting problem - I genuinely don't know the answers to those questions. If you really want to replace the recircs, then why not either go for new ones, or use the type of BOV's that are a direct replacement - someone mentioned them in another thread in the past few days I think.
  23. http://www.lifesure.co.uk do classic on imports, at least that's what the AON policy I received from them says ! So maybe AON Direct may also be a possibility.
  24. Been there, done that - fantastic fun. For the ultimate experience try to get in the group that starts with the smallest car end and up with a Lambo, and of course for max fun do it on a wet day !!!!
  25. Make sure we're talking about the same gizmo here :- ConZult - ace toy made by the clever chaps in the Netherlands, works on ALL Z32's Consult - Official Nissan multi function tool which has plug in modules for each modle of car. Don't know for certain whether a module for a UK spec Z32 would be absolutely 100% compatible with a Jap spec car. There are some subtle differences. That said, many Nissan dealers will take every opportunity to BS you when you present them with an import car.
