We already have an "amazon", that registered in January but never posted. The forum software is not case sensitive, so unless that username is you then you'll need to think of something else.
  6. So you are now subscribed (although it typically takes up to 5 business days for the bank transfer to happen)
  7. Hmm, the muscles, the size of the hands, shape of face ..... be afraid !
  8. It can be done with the engine in, but you need the plenum off.
  9. ... and a picnic table ....
  10. At least if you bring it to JAE then we have somewhere to keep the beers cool ! :D
  11. Turn up in a Jap sports car and pay them on the gate. As long as you can tell them which lot you belong with and that club is on the list it should be fine.
  12. You won't need your ID to get on site, but you may need them if we don't know you when it comes to the barbeque etc etc
  13. Hmmm, sounds like a different problem then. Having air leaks will screw up all sorts of things though.
  14. Congrats to them both - and they thought Zeds were expensive !!!!!
  15. I don't make the rules, I just copied from their site ... What I think it means is that general public have to park in the car park, (which is not small, but far, far away ;) ). To park in the club area is £10 for the day or £20 for the weekend which includes camping.
  16. IIRC the airflow meter limit kicks in around 2400 rpm - the exact figure is in the manual somewhere ...
  17. You'll have you're ID, right ? Actually, I think you just have to turn up in the right type of car and more importantly - give them money !
  18. I insured with Carole Nash less than two months ago - no problem then.
  19. Sorry, thought you had already planned for 2/3 days. Get what you feel is appropriate.
  20. Actually, we decided not to do the hog roast as it was going to be too expensive, especially as it would have been Saturday afternoon only.
  21. Not specifically on 5 but depending on how bad the leak is it could cause a number of problems, like poor tickover.
  22. http://www.japcarclub.com/jae/ ENTRY TO JAE IS £20 PER CAR FOR THE ENTIRE WEEKEND FOR ALL CAR CLUBS AND ENTHUSIASTS. GENERAL PUBLIC ARE £10 PER ADULT, PLUS CONCESSIONS
  23. I'll make sure I have a spare fiver with me ! See you next weekend.
  24. That tellow plug is for the temp sensor. Make sure the inside of the plug is clean and free from verdigris. If not a quick fix is to cut it off and solder on a spade terminal.
  25. How about a nice Xantia ! LOL :D
