Use the wire bridge method on the diag port rather than messing with the screw, it's much easier.

Quite probable that the little vacumn pipe has fallen off the sender. It's on a little black box on the inner wing on the drivers side, just in front of the firewall.

Kinda depends on which combination of Series I/II parts you have. I had to swap the clocks from a Series I UK car into the case from the Series II Jap car and then install that.

Yeah, it was the GT40 style stripe that inspired me, but only for Le Mans.

Suggest you do some wet weather 'testing' to check whether it's doing what you think it should be doing. Sometimes small configuration changes can make a difference.

Yeah, but if it went sideways because he hoofed it which started the wheels spinning then that shouldn't have happened. Obviously if he's hurtling around a corner and the car drifts out then TC won't make any difference.
