  1. Wet should = 0% Suspect it ain't working right ...
  2. The wheels kinda remind me or ber can ring-pulls ! But hey, I can't take the p!ss, I have a diesel Xantia as a run around ....
  3. Agreed, sounds risky to me, especially with the hotter climate in Madrid.
  4. Please PM it to Steve-300zx for your membership pack.

    Are you guys serious ?
  7. Sorted, sorry for delay, didn't get on here yesterday.
  8. Yes, you probaby will have to, just to get to the bolts that hold the old one on.
  9. Yes, you will need to remove the brake pads, plus you will probably have to push the pistons in a bit too.
  10. A small leak won't make much difference to general running (except tickover perhaps), as the engine flows a huge quantity of air. Obviously, no leaks are better though.
  11. Can be nice cars while they hold together, always liked them.
  12. Timmy Turbo had a Merc Cossie I think. Ran forever, but cost a bomb whenever it when near a dealer for a service.
  13. If the the seller is not insulted by your first offer then it's too high !
  14. This sounds like an intermittent electrical connection problem to me.
  15. To change the odometer as well you either need UK clocks, or maybe the odo from a UK car, but I've not tried that yet. I think that the gearing is different. Or, you use one of the speedo converter boxes, which messes with the signal before it gets into the clock (and also potentially confuses the ECU).
  16. The front line server is up but something is broken behind the scenes. The last contact name I have is Russ Taylor, I'll pm you his moby number.
  17. I think that I can say, without fear of contradiction, that it's broken !
  18. I pleased to hear that you got your stuff, but I don't think that having our own list of bad ebayers will help much. They have their own rating system and if people disappear and then come back with a new name then we won't know until it's too late anyway. Unless you've thought of a better way of doing this than I have ....
  19. Mmmmm, tasteful. So if the front of the bonnet is orange, why isn't the bumper orange too ?
  20. They don't cost much, approx £12 I seem to recollect, so just get a new one.
  21. Supposed to be a 20k I think, but the variable resistor in series with it should be enough to correct.
  22. You membership number is listed with all the others in the Private area General forum. Have you PM'd your address etc to Steve-300zx ? If you have then it does take a little while for the membership cards to be printerd.
  23. It means there's about 50 fewer joins to leak afterwards ! You probably can do it with the plenum on, but it'll be a bit easier with it off. Could dump the EGr at the same time too.
