  1. I've never banned anyone (although I have considered it for poor spelling and grammar a few times). :D
  2. Well, if you are one of the people who has previous (ie an entry in the 'ban log'), then it's more than likely that it's directed, or has been directed, at you. If not then I reckon you're in the clear. :D
  3. Yeah, any celulose based paint would do.
  4. Are chickens also excluded, or are you taking the Fifth on that one ? ;)
  5. I use Wonderwheels http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/carreviews/producttests/66583/alloy_wheel_cleaners.html

When you say the car runs fine, do you mean that ? Is it just the boost gauge that isn't working ?
  7. I'd be very surprised if you can (legally).
  8. No, if it rattles it still moves, it it doesn't rattle then it's gummed up with oily goop and doesn't vent anything.
  9. So that's number 6 then, typically the one most likely to fail. Could be caused by all sots of things, but yes, ring damage or cracked piston ring lands type of damage.
  10. AndrewG found a place in the UK that will refurb the unit to good as new condition. Sounded like a good deal to me.
  11. MicroShaft have a powertoy that probably does what you need. Look here :- http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx and scroll down to "Image Resizer"
  12. Well it's online in our Tech section and on the Dutch Site, so I guess Nissan don't care too much about copyright on a manual that they don't seem to sell to the public for an out of date car.
  13. Should be a Nyloc nut there I would have thought.
  14. The ID cards are printed individually, so I think he waits until ab few are required. he is also getting extra stickers printed, but I'm sure he'll be around later to give you an update.
  15. Wow - you got a lucky bargain there !
  16. In pharmacology, all drugs have a generic name: Tylenol is acetamophen, Aleve is naproxen, Amoxil is amoxicillin, advil is abuprofen, and so on.......... The FDA have been looking for a generic name for Viagra, and has announced that it has settled on mycoxafloppin. Also considered were mycoxafailin, mydixadrupin, mydixarizin, mydixadud, dixafix and of course, ibepokin.
  17. Can't say the name bothers my unduly, looking forward to you walking around JAE with your membership badge with forum usename on it though .... ;)
  18. A wet and dry compression test will give a good indication as to whether the problem is the rings or the valve stem seals. Basically, if you have poor compression dry then it could be either one or the other. If you have poor compression on a wet test as well then it's almost certainly the seals.
  19. You should be able to get Shell/Optimax all the way.
  20. And some good ones (by their standards), from the other side of the water .... http://www.geico.com/video/index.htm
  21. http://www.johnsmiths.co.uk/adverts/index.htm Classic !
  22. Ah, ok, wasn't sure which way round the new bracket goes ....
