  1. It's hot down there and a long motorway run, so add some water wetter, use good fuel and take it easy. (and keep an eye on the temp gauge - mine was geting close to 100 deg C on the way back from Le Mans last year)
  2. Not sure about this, but are you using the correct bolts ? The new bracket probably isn't threaded, so that bolt should have a shoulder on it.
  3. See if you can get a photo, so we can be certain which bit you're talking about and what it looks like.

I was in San Francisco last week and I saw quite a few 'people' that would probably pass both tests !!!!!!! :hurl:
  5. Mine is Series II, Nov '92 but had some Series I parts, the changeover was Aug '92.

  8. Those comments don't always make it through the banking system. It can sometimes be quite a challenge to work out who is sending us money !
  9. It's quite likely that it's the metal stub tubes that bolt to the heads, but could also be the rubber hoses taht attach to them.
  10. Turbo car, these are generally under pressure not vacuum.
  11. Smithy sells the hard pipe kits. I think you'd be hard pressed to argue that they keep the air colder, they are just as likley to heat it up from the surrounding under bonet air temp - However, they look nice ....
  12. The one you have marked should be the side + driving/spot lights. The corner light should be indicators. You may need to do some fiddling with the wiring.
  13. Dead easy, Shrimpy will sort you out ....
  14. Need to know your forum ID ...
  15. I have Tokico all round on mine. Seem to work very well.
  16. If you have a problem with a standard setup and standard chip then it's unlikley that a modified chip will fix it. I'd recommend identifying the root cause of the problem before making changes.
  17. I find it difficult to believe that this would make a noticable difference, cars already have a voltage regulator/stabiliser circuit.

Here :- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MCGARD-WHEEL-LOCKS-M12-X-1-25-Theft-Protection_W0QQitemZ280001842036QQihZ018QQcategoryZ72257QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem But I doubt you'll get them for this price. Also, ideally you want the ones with a 19mm head on the key, thay way you only need one socket to remove the std nuts and the locking nut.
  19. But you can't use silicon hose for fuel.
  20. I'm with Carole Nash and it's £144 !
  21. You will need to get the surface properly clean before spraying though.

I remember you from Japfest !
  23. Mine is Classic and pretty much anything goes, except your annual mileage is heavily restricted. They usually expect it to be your 2nd car too.
  24. I hope it's changed a lot since I saw that wreck parked outside Duffers place a couple of years back !
