Is anybody on here running Greddy smic's?
As per title, I'm trying to get some real world info on Greddy smic's for the zed *I've got a Greddy 3 row fmic for the LWB but I'm going to continue running a smic setup on the shortie'* I've seen the thread where a few different manufacturers smic's specs are listed but can't recall ever seeing Greddy smic's on the list, though I know they are available from the States I'm looking to compile a spec list for future reference of the various smic options available today, to record real world performance gains, in addition to dimensions/quality etc: - Stock smic's - PACE smic's - HKS smic's - STILLEN smic's - Z1 smic's - ARC smic's - Greddy smic's - Godspeed smic's - TOYO smic's - AVS - BELL (BIC) - CZP and will ammend the list accordingly cheers in advance for any input fellas

Rebuilding A Smashed TVR
Beautiful car, with a sound to die for, but I'd liken it to that bird off the film 'Species'.....loads of pleasure up until the point she decides to bite your head off! Ok so maybe it won't bite your head off, but it's gonna' cost you a lot of money and pain for not much gain....they aren't that expensive these days anyway to be fair. Buy a good one from the off I reckon bud

Why is TalkTalk so crap!!!
I agree with you 100% mate, this is exactly why we changed over to an all inclusive Sky package, and since doing so we've been pretty much problem free with regards to internet service. We are now very happy with our new provider. however, I'd just like to highlight a point here. Could you explain please the difference between a permitted thread that quite rightly makes other club members aware of an individuals displeasure with a company's product, their poor service and customer care, associated costs and general bad experiences with the company in question (ie.Talk Talk/Tiscali)....in comparison to an the un-permitted thread highlighting similar issues with regards to an individuals similar experiences associated with their dealings with, for example, a company that specialises in a particular type of vehicle. On the surface the only difference that I can see is that the amounts of money changing hands differs somewhat. I'm assuming that it's widly accepted that much larger companies such as Talk Talk/Tiscali have expressed there un-willingness to take any legal action against any club in the future, who's members express their displeasure at the service that they have provided? but back on topic, we live in a small village several miles from Hereford and internet has always been slower here than in the city. It may be that our internet access is a lot slower than most, though we may have just got used to it being 'really' slow (when with Talk Talk) and we now have slightly faster 'slow' access (with Sky)?

what happened to my video
Did you only pay £400 for that yellow MR2 in the vid?

My new car.
I drove a tweaked one of these around Milbrook back in '06, it handled like a go kart (albeit a go kart with a decent amount of boot space), that one wasn't LPG though nice motor anyway bud

Insurance Quotes
£194 on my shortie' TT manual with Lyndbrook, though I'm sure someone on the forum recently got their quote a few £ cheaper

£3k Slicky looks like a nice motor
Just going to play devils advocate here so don't shoot me, but let's be honest, us zed owners are always asking why our zeds are so cheap to buy. Well maybe this owner has taken it on board and has listed a car, that I for one, would like to see selling for at least £5k+ for a tidy example like this. Let's not speculate on whether it is or isn't cosher, unless someone actually go's to inspect the car first hand. It's a zed for sale, this is a zed forum where potential first time zed buyers come for advice on what to buy. A fairly rare SWB TT in what appears to be good condition, being sold for £3k....what's not to like? If it's stolen (doubtful) but easy to check. If it has a blown motor then you'll find out on test drive. Other than that, it'll no doubt have the same niggles that any zed owner will come to love. If I hadn't just bought a TT shortie' I'd be hopping on a train right now to take a look. Ok so maybe not so much devils advocate as my 2p's worth but long and short of it £3k for tidy looking SWB TT = win/win. Especially if you can haggle on price

HID kit
Took all of 10 minutes to fit the HIDs this afternoon. I've just tested them at night and what can I say except, simply fantastic headlights.... and full beams.... They were a simple plug and play job and work with no dramas Quite possibly the best £30 I've spent on the zed, so if you haven't already switched to HID's fellas, I highly recommend it

HID kit
Very useful info, cheers
-
How much does your zed owe you??
I have reciepts for just over £68k spent on the LWB since '07 (a lot of that is import tax) and about £2k spent on top of purchase price on the SWB. To be fair though, over the last few years I've sold, re-bought and then re-sold parts so often that I've lost track of the actual total re-couped from the total spent Definately in the red though :punk:
