Who had the orange LWB for sale in scotland?
There was a bright orange zed in Blackpool, not sure if that's the same one bud, looked quite tidy (although the front bumper did make it look like an angry Pokemon') but still tidy none the less

It'll be interesting to see what can be achieved, and if it's all about the tuning then I'm expecting good things

Standard turbos + big injectors etc question?
Ok I've spoken to Greg (Protuner) and the shortie's off up to Redditch shortly Greg's gonna' put the shortie' on the dyno in it's current guise so we can see what figures we are starting with Currently the shortie's stock apart from: Single intake (Blitz I think) Straight through de-cat full exhaust system *possibly boost jets fitted??? Now the 'Tzech' engine has to be rebuilt which will obviously take some time and money (it's confirmed it does have forged internals :sweatdrop:), therefore in the meantime I want to utilise as many of the bolt on parts as possible and cross deck them onto the shortie' It looks like I'm going to have to stick with stock turbos for now as I can't justify pulling the engine just to temporarily fit the bigger GT675's. Greg will then MAP it with the following fitted. Therefore (and I'm sure this question has been asked a million times before) what could I expect to achieve having fitted the following: HKS twin intake Straight through de-cat full exhaust system Nismo 740cc injectors V. large Toyo smic's Greddy boost controller AEM EMS *on stock turbos* Koyorad/Japspeed rad for cooling ARC oil cooler I'd like to achieve around the 420-430bhp mark to bring it on par with a certain VXR8, is that do-able with stock turbos without putting too much strain on the '95 (80k miles) block? cheers in advance

Thanks Jeff!
I'm sure even the best mechanics in the world have fallen foul to that minor oversight. What is it that they say about assumptions?

How about a big old Jap V8- classic muscle cars
Here's a nice one now up for sale in Hereford, the owner test drove a zed the other week which obviously made him reconsider putting his down the 1/4 mile at the pod against the little Nissan http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3222105.htm holds its value pretty well to be fair- classic muscle cars
If you've given yourself a budget of £30k I'd be tempted to import one from the States, even with the shipping and taxes surely you'd be more likely to get a better car for your $- 1jz z weapon
Your gran was right mate....don't trust us!- Thread Closed!!!! lol!! Club suggestions??
A decent embroidered club polo shirt/T.shirt (with forum/user name on the back and smaller name on front) would work nicely. Don't Jeff and the Zedworld staff wear tidy looking embroidered polo shirts or did I just imagine that? Maybe a nice quality enamel name badge rather than tacky 'birthday boy' badge as mentioned previously- 1jz z weapon

What are your thoughts on holding a monthly raffle on the last day of every month with 3 draws per raffle (ie. 1st, 2nd & 3rd place prizes), maybe £1 per ticket to be paid by the day prior to the raffle being drawn. Three decent zed related prizes up for grabs every month, pics of which can be posted up on 1st day of every month by way of an incentive for members to buy tickets (cost within reason agreed by members in advance). any additional proceeds from the years raffles being put into a pot and at the end of the year that pot being donated to a charity of choice (to save arguments the 1st placed winner of the December/Christmas draw stipulates the charity/s who will benefit from the donation) A number of appointed trustees could make the draw each month- My sons toyota supra
