I've just had NavTrak installed. Not particularly cheap, but a damn good system and has more recommendations than Tracker. I know people who have had Tracker installed and they are not impressed with NOT getting a phone call if their car moves without it being de-activated. Everytime my car has moved without it being switched off, I've always had a phone call. The chap who did mine is actually on another BBS that I am on and he is organising a group buy with the BMW forum, so I'll ask if you can hop on too, if you like. Also - they come out to you to install it at your convenience. AND it is transferable between cars. :)

PMSL...not in the slightest!! She takes her children to school and then drives to work and that's about it and both locations are incredibly close to her home. Every other week she drives to Bristol. Hardly enough to scrub 5 sets of tyres in 9 months....

Yes, you can do it without going through the courts. You'll both still need a solicitor, but that's more to make sure that everything that is said is understood. You don't need the solicitor if you and your partner can come to an amicable arrangement.
