Apology accepted. However, in future if you wish to make a point, you'll find that reasoned communication is a better method than insults to / about an unknown person. :D

Welcome to the forum! :) There isn't a Haynes manual for the Z32 but there is an online one, the address of which is on my flaptop at home, so unless someone posts it for me, I'll put it up when I get back. There's also AndyP's excellent site : here. Now all you need to do is subscribe and post pictures of your Zed! :D ;) :D Happy motoring. :)- not happy
So you're looking at a 14 year old car. You didn't say how much you paid, but I would expect an 89 (G) to be around the £3.5 - £4K mark for a reasonable one. Perhaps up to £4.5K. 14 year old cars WILL go wrong....of any make. Mine's only 9 years old and its just blown its second set of turbos because the stock ones aren't fit for the boost. Unfortunately one of those things... They are expensive commodities that will have failures and things breaking on them.- not happy
What do you call "top dollar"? What age is the car? Mileage?- Some pic from japmeet sweden "dial up warning"
Hmm..doesn't work for me...I get loads of red crosses... Maybe our firewall's filtered them out.- 89(G)- £9K - is this too much?
Especially as there was an M reg for sale in Autotrader (?) for £13K last week! :D- Oh my God !!!
....and can it be scanned in and emailed to us all? :D :D ;)- 89(G)- £9K - is this too much?
...and therein lies the problem. What checks did you do before purchasing the car? Did you take anyone from the forum with you? Did you know what sort of market you were getting into when you bought a used, ageing sportscar? What sort of problems have you had with yours? You can spend £5K and get a lemon, a passably good but needs work one, or a "mint" one....it purely depends on how the car has been looked after to that point, what mods have been done to it and whether it's been beaten up in general life. There are people on here who have spent over £15K for their Zeds. I bought my first one for £11,500. 4 years later, I bought a car that was 1 year newer for £6K and look - the turbos have gone because it is running stock turbos on 1 bar boost. A silly thing to do, really. Yet do you hear me belittling the previous owner? No. It's just one of those things. Plus an excellent chance to uprate the turbos! :D :D- Happy Birthday Cerina
Happy Birthday, Cerina. :D- Avatar!!!
LOL..congratulations! :) Took yer time! ;)- Black,white or Fiat shite?:D:D
The Fiat lights look pants, IMHO. Ruins the angular lines of the car. The 99OEM lights look very nice, but I do like the smoked ones. :)- Turbo Advice...
Steady Eddy - unfortunately this is a different car - the Red one had the turbos replaced under warranty but that car is no more. :) This one had new turbos 20K miles ago so quite why they've gone so soon, I don't know.... Cheers for the sites. :)- How do you get to yours?
Metro (from 17 - 18) Metro (from 18 - 19) Toyota MR2 Mk1 (from 19 - date) Nissan 300ZX TT (from 24 to date) Nissan 300ZX TT (from May to date) :)- Help... I Want One!
Welcome to the forum, Scoobydoo. For the money you're looking to spend, you should be able to get a really decent motor. As has been said, try to get one from this forum, if you can. If nothing else, you can look through the seller's posts and see the problems they've had with the car, if any and know that it's been looked after by an enthusiast. :) Cheers Anita.- Turbo Advice...
Well, as soon as I get the money for my engine off the old Zed, I can work it out better, but am just looking to see what options I have open to me at the moment. :)- Turbo Advice...
Blew a turbo on Saturday night whilst cruising down the M4...marvellous amounts of white smoke.. Am looking for advice on which turbos to purchase now. Car's been chipped, running 385bhp, 1 bar boost so need turbos that can cope with this and go beyond. Thanks.- Nice
All that...and they still kept the orange indicators.... =shakes head=- 5-50 oil - Valvoline's response

What is your old user name and what error are you getting? Have you tried deleting cookies / resetting the password?- ChrisC to make Billing?????????
It also helped that a lot of it had been done before you lot deigned to turn up at quarter to 2! :p ;) Still it was quite impressive that it was out and loaded on the van in that short a time. :)- Quotes (not insurance for once)
