  1. Just to keep everyone informed, the person sorting out the Club Bank Account is now away until the 7th October, so hopefully after that date, things should be sorted and an electronic transfer set up. Also, we are having a meeting on the Saturday of the SE Open Day to go through the budget and then it will be published for the members to see. Thanks.
  2. As stated before - once the bank account is sorted, then this WILL be set up. I'm not happy at publishing my personal bank account details.
  3. Hmmm...not too sure about the "Dollar for dollar...." slogan to be honest, but the idea is a good one. Only problem is, you're more likely to see Zeds zooming past on the other side of the road than you are to see them parked up! :) LOL...
  4. True - I received it on Friday, but haven't had time to upgrade you and it slipped my mind. Sorry. Will do it now. :)
  5. Tulip - see thread in Membership & Club Enquiries. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23419 For first time subscribers it's £20. Thanks. :)
  6. If there's enough interest, then I'll be happy to organise such an event.
  7. Will do once the Club account is opened. :) Cheques have now been received from Phil and Vijay. Thanks guys.
  8. But the tutu suited you.... Sounds good to me. Would motivate people to become more active in the site and would help encourage people to stay.
  9. Droughts? :D
  10. You can have your name changed to whatever you like. :) But I draw the line at changing it every day for you. :p :)
  11. Van, As requested, your User name has been changed from Van300 to Van. (Just in case you didn't receive the PM, if you couldn't log in.) Cheers Ajay.
  12. Hello Bob and welcome aboard! :) Thanks for all your work on my car - feels great! :D

  21. MSN CHATROOMS AXED Computer giant Microsoft is to close the majority of its internet chatrooms to stop paedophiles preying on children. It will axe all its chatrooms run by its MSN websites in 34 countries in a bid to prevent paedophiles using the web to groom victims. Other chatrooms accessible using MSN will be more tightly monitored or operate on a subsciption-only basis. It comes after a recent survey of 9 to 16-year-olds that 20% are regular users of internet chatrooms, 25% have requested a meeting with someone they have met in a chatroom and 10% admit they have actually gone on to meet up with a stranger. The company also hopes the move will combat spam emails. Companies are known to collect email addresses from those visiting chatrooms which they use to send what are often x-rated adverts. Matt Whittingham, head of customer satisfaction at MSN UK, said: "Most people treat this type of service with respect but we have found that chatrooms - and not only ours - are increasingly being used for inappropriate communications. "Many of those using chatrooms are young and interested in sex and going out. "Unfortunately we know paedophiles have exploited this and the freedom they get from chatrooms to target children. "We have had enough of our services being used in this way which is why we have decided to close those which are free and not monitored." MSN will shut its free, unmoderated Chat services around the globe on October 14. A service will continue for free in New Zealand, Australia, Brazil, Canada and Japan but the contents of the chatrooms will be monitored. The US will run a subscription-only service which requires users to disclose their credit card details.
  22. Wasn't that just about No More Chat Rooms, rather than No More MSN? (fingers crossed)
  23. Yep, finally! :D Not SE's fault, I hasten to add - they had to await parts from Courtesy. :)
  24. Iain - am going to be paying them in person on Saturday. :)
