  5. Paul - how much work was involved? Am thinking of taking the one off my black Zed and replacing it with the one from the red one. Are they easy to detach?

  9. :( =sigh= It's at times like this when I realise the benefits of CCTV everywhere. Might have been able to get his reg plate and shopped him for hit & run. Could always ask the local garages to keep an eye out for a Sierra with N/S damage....

  16. Your licence has your signature on it, you filled in the form with your driving details... That's all they need.
  17. From previous threads like this on 5ive-o, it is 14 days, not working days from the alleged offence. This does not include the date of the offence. It has to be proved (by the police) that you could have received that letter within the 14 days, so if you were caught speeding on the 1st of the month, they have until the post on the 15th for you to receive it. Personally I would first ask to see photographic evidence and then do nothing further. If they query it, simply cite the 14 day rule.

  19. Just had this through from work - thought it might be of interest to those with Sony mobiles... Sony Ericsson have identified an issue with one type of their CST-13 mobile phone chargers. There have been a small number of cases in the UK, where a pressure build-up in the charger has caused the top plastic part of the charger to break off. If this happens it may leave the electronics of the charger exposed. This could pose a risk of electric shock or a fire if the charger is close to flammable material. Sony Ericsson are currently working closely with their supplier to get a full understanding of what causes this malfunction. The charger has been shipped as one of several charger types with the following Sony Ericsson phone models: T300, T310, T610, HBH-60 (BlueTooth headset) and a limited number of T68i The type of chargers which may malfunction is limited to the 3-pin UK charger made by Delta with identification number BML162099/3 R1A. The serial number and "Made in Thailand by Delta" is printed on the socket-face of the charger - the side that faces the wall when plugged in. So far the number of reported incidents are 9 out of a total shipment of approximately 350,000 to UK, but as the unit must be deemed a potential Health & Safety risk, Sony Ericsson finds it necessary as a precautionary measure to immediately stop shipments and start a recall process. O2 fully supports this decision and will be 'quarantining' all chargers of this type currently in stock to prevent them being shipped to our customers. O2 is also actively supporting Sony Ericsson where possible by identifying and contacting customers who may be affected. Customer Service teams will be briefed to handle any inquiries from our customers on this issue. If any of your employees, or their friends or family has one of the faulty chargers they must stop any further use of the unit with immediate effect.   22. At the moment the subscription cheques are being paid directly to me until the club account is sorted out. I can mail you my bank details for the transfer if you would prefer to do it that way...?
