Japanese imports
Yep...that's America for you... It's ChairPerson now, regardless of gender... An example : As civilisations decline, they become increasingly concerned with form over substance, particularly with respect to language. At the time of the First World War we called it shell shock--a simple term, two one-syllable words, clear and descriptive. A generation later, after the Second World War had come and gone, we called it combat fatigue. It meant the same thing, and there were still just two words--but the two syllables had grown to four. Today the two words have doubled, and the original pair of syllables have mushroomed to eight. It even has an acronym, PTSD--post traumatic stress disorder. It still means the same thing, and it still hurts as much or as little, but it is more in tune with current effete sensibilities.

Timmy....shush! :p Who was it who took you out for a ride in her Zed when SOMEone's Zed was off the road, yet again??? Hmmmm???? :p Gezackly. :D :p ;) I'll have a spook in the Trader's Forum in a bit then...see if I can get hold of Smiffy. :D

Will do! :D That doesn't seem too bad...Kind of in the range that I was expecting, anyway. :) Does Smiffy still frequent this place?

Oooh....Timmy - you're going to get such a slap once this nail varnish has dried! ;) Yes, I know that I am a (probably) lone female in amongst you 'orrible lot ;) but I was here for a fair amount of time before it all started getting personal and stuff. :p Anyway, must dash...I've been in these clothes for a good hour now and I must change..! :D

Unbelieveable.... It's amazing what some people feel the need to complain about... I can't even see why it would be offensive outside of this forum....please do explain as I'm totally lost here....

HICAS light and XXX
First thing to check is indeed the Hicas fluid - it's probably running low. Also, if it's cold in the mornings, it will settle more. Just needs topping up. As to XXX, absolutely brilliant film. :D :D (Apart from Diesel's ears....which were annoying me throughout. :D) Anita.

If my starboard turbo goes west, I throw it into Nissan and yell for the warranty company to pay up. :D :p

Anyone else waste time on petrol forecourt?
Nah...they're probably spilling petrol all over their shoes while drooling over our Zeds... ;) ;) ;)

God this place has gone to ground!
A bit harsh, Warren....Andy has just bought his own house for a start. Not everyone has money just lying about waiting to be spent. £20 is £20 is £20 - to some it is a piddling sum that is lost down the back of the sofa, to others it means that they can have half a tank of fuel or whatever. Regardless, it is people's own prerogative whether they wish to spend X amount on whatever. Anyway...enough of defending Duff - I'm sure he can do it more than adequately himself. :D :D

Maybe have a "first 20 posts free" type situation, where newbies could get the feel of the forum - after that it's read only...??

Spotted Z today
Red's OK....never wanted a red Zed, TBH....all my other cars have been blue. But I never found a decent example in black or blue, unfortunately. So Red it is....Aztec Red, to be precise. :)

Anyone else waste time on petrol forecourt?
If you don't put the nozzle in all the way, it cuts out less, I've found. Never had to hold it at an angle, while balancing on foot, humming the Russian National Anthem in Portugese, though... :D Warren...I may be able to beat you on that. :D ;) I've only filled the Zed up about twice this year... Damn...I should use it more... The company car is just too available. :) Anita.

God this place has gone to ground!
TBH, I left this forum for a good while because of all the "school-boy, lads-down-the-pub slagging each other off" type of abuse that went on here. I didn't like it, I left - big deal. Didn't make a song & dance about the job. Can't go so far as to say that I wouldn't have my Zed if it wasn't for this forum as that would be blatantly untrue. I bought my Zed because I fell in love with the power, the styling and the wonderful fuel economy of it (;)), it had nothing to do with this forum. I've come back to see a new forum and yes, I'm quite happy to pay X amount to keep this forum going. Have already emailed Craig about it and hopefully I'll get a reply in a bit. The fighting and abuse was pants, pure and simple. Am all for humour and jokes, as those who knew me in my 1000+ post life know. :D Give the new forum a chance - it'll pick up, I've no doubt. :)

New Clutch
Cheers Warren...what sort of price am I looking at here? My car only stays Stock until things need doing....the clutch needs doing so..... :D I just need a decent one that can take some mods as the Zed begins to need work doing to it. Anita.

Would an NSX temp a Zedder?
Ditto - when I was looking at buying my next car, the NSX was in the running. Drove one about for a bit, but to be honest, the Zed "felt" better IMHO...so consequently spent the better part of a year searching for a good one. :D

MSN list
Ditto. He came through as that and I blocked him instantly. Sorry Steve! :)

New Clutch
Morning all.... My clutch is on the way out and I'd like some advice on what would be the best replacement. Am looking for a road-use clutch, as I don't intend to take it on the Ring or anything. Any suggestions? Cheers Anita. P.S. - Craig - like the new look forum! :D :D
