Take Andys advise over mine bud :D but I will ention it anyway, lol Its the switch that should be under the brake pedal - i.e. when you press the brake pedal it hits the switch and tells your brake lights to come on.

Whats the easiest way to test bearing in mind I'm by myself. Done a search and all I read is '...........................' while a mate turns the engine over.

This is silly............... When I was bleeding the brakes, I was putting the wheels back on one by one. The front of the car was now on the floor and the back was still in the air. I asked my mate to put the handbrake on while the front of the car was in limbo, this sorted my reversing light out (I just left the car sat in reverse gear for days) and funnily enough the indicator stalk started working again? Just had an auto electrician round about the headlamp, none the wiser?? (still fooked)

What about the brake pedal switch?

Cancelled MOT :cry: Changed ECU, still don't start. Auto Electrician came round to fix headlamp problem....didnt fix it and said get it started, leave it outside my house at weekend and I'll keep tinkering about with it, then went on to say he did a job on one of these cars before and changed the cambelt and ended up smashing the engine up and the customer had to scrap it. WTF Right how do I start the feckin car :confused: :D

I bled my brakes last night but decided to put my slotted brakes on the other way around at the same time (just bought some front brembo discs and in the instructions shows the correct way to put slotted discs on). Anyway when I removed the rear drivers disc I noticed a squashed a ciggy end inbetween the disc and the hub :p . Found it funny. I work on cars like a red-neck :rofl:

Can't get my reverse lights to work for love nor money :mac1: The only thing I can think of is that I have mistakenly plugged the neutral position sensor or reverse switch in each others place? Is this possible or are the connectors idiot proof! Cheers

No, I threw them out,lol I knew about the reversing light but forgot. But it was'nt a problem I just thought I would sort it out properly as I am having all sorts of light related problems (god know why fine before disconnecting battery) and maybe they are related. The last time I drove the car it was back from being resprayed, he had the headlights out but I never though to test them, it was light outside when I drove home? Got another thread going about my headlamps which I'm going to continue when the rears are ok. Fed up, wish my memory was better as I used to have a clue about how to use a multi meter. :slap:

No Neil not the LED ones. These lambo lights were originally from a guy in Preston and he was selling on ebay only. He made a post on here to sell the moulds, I then shat myself as I really wanted em and drove to preston (not far) to buy his last set he had left. lol I think he sold them to Luke after all :nelson: I have put them on like the top picture.

It is dragging already! I have only been up an hour and I worked nights last night, I have got up cos I'm waiting for a package, and if it don't come today I'm gonna go stoopid! lol just chased it up and they couldn't get hold of Currier's, told them just let me pick it up from wherever it is now :mac1:

Cheers Neil :-) I havent got a 100ohm resistor? or never knew about it? Did you get any fitting instructions from Luke? I have checked My headlight and indicator stalk fuses. Thought it maybe related to the back lights, so trying to sort these first.

Warm it up first with a hairdryer, you may need to wear gloves when warm though.

Got the indicators working, well when I press the hazard lights, need to check properly when I get the indicator stalk working. Can't seem to find the wire which I should connect the reverse light to?

My headlamps arent working properly on the car, this could be due to the rear lights not being wired up correctly (by me :wack: ). Has anybody done this conversion and recorded where they put the wires? I have looked at it until I'm blue in the face and can't seem to get anywhere. Reverse Light comes on same thime as indicators (hazards). I cannot check indicators properly as my indicator stalk dont work. Is everything related? Have I fooked up big time? There is an auto electrician who lives at the top of my street, wonder how much he charges :p Any help guys.......please :)

Just disconnected this and the same faults occur Acts the same regardless if connected or not? I'm stuck :(

Battery is literally brand new (not even turned starter yet) Dont know how to check relays, :confused: I have fitted round lights at the back could be something to do with those but I tested them ages ago, maybe never noticed headlamp problem at the time. will have another tinker later. cheers
