  1. That looks tonnes better! Do like those wheels too, look great with the shiny black paintwork
  2. Nice variety of JDM goodness there Gaz!
  3. Congrats on the purchase, looks in good condition!
  4. Yeah they don't seem bad prices either if the quality is good, I'll give the accent stripes a try. A lot cheaper than the Nissan ones were!
  5. Actually might be wrong on that, could it be moulded into the hard line on earlier cars and is a separate piece on later cars? The routing for the pipes on the below pic looks completely different to mine, which is a JDM 92 model and is routed like the 1st pic above. http://nissan4u.com/parts/300zx/er_z32/1992_3/type_1/axle_suspension_and_steering/power_steering_pump_power_steering_pump_mounting_and_power_steering_piping/illustration_3/
  6. One of the things I'm trying to get sorted this summer is the power steering leak from around the pot area. All 3 hoses that connect to it are cracking badly so wanted to swap them all. The one I'm having issues finding is the middle one with the "b" label. From what I can tell this seems to have been available at some point on its own as 4972530P04 but is now NLA, and also as a set with the hardlines, brackets and bolts (circled red on the pic) as 49790-30P01 Does anyone know if there's a silicon version available out there (Z1 and Concept Z seem to have different shaped silicon hoses for that area, assume the LHD are different - also both stores don't seem to fluoro line the majority of their power steering silicon hoses) or has anyone custom made a replacement from a rubber hose?
  7. Was looking through Concept Z to get an order together and came across some "BlasterZ" accent stripe replacements, I may pick some of these up ready for when I have the respray done. Found their website and they seem to have replicas for a lot of stickers on the zed too: https://blasterzgarage.com/products/complete-accent-stripe-kit-all-models?variant=32632120377475 Has anyone tried anything by them before? Is the quality any good?
  8. Looks awesome Richard! I am looking to replace mine and have always liked the Mongoose tailpipe design and size, but like you I'd prefer something that doesn't sit out quite as far as the Mongoose. How does it sound when the loud pedal is buried?! ?
  9. Cool car! Funnily enough I haven't seen another one on the road since that day when I saw 2 different ones!
  10. Happy Birthday!
  11. Congrats guys, what a journey!
  12. Happy birthday!
  13. Went to a local meet this evening, at MFN Nottingham NG16. Didn't take the Zed as off the road for a couple of weeks whilst I get round to swapping the shocks. No Zeds but a nice standard S14a, an R34 GTR as well as a good mix of classics
  14. Cheers Andrew, think I'll get the same as surely those 5 should cover most applications Not had to remove any trim on the zed yet apart from the cluster cowl, but am going to remove the door cards and back shock covers etc. soon so didn't want to risk damaging any trim that's push fit as it's getting harder to come by!
  15. Hi all, I'm after a set of trim tools for interior and exterior trim, but on looking on Amazon etc. there seems to be so many different types! Amazon Trim Tools Can anyone recommend any that work well with the different trim clips etc. on a zed?
  16. It looks awesome Raja, love the colour!
  17. They still carry some but most seem to come over from Japan when you order them. More and more parts are going NLA though unfortunately. Theres also Luke at Z Centre and places like https://jp-carparts.com/ and https://www.amayama.com/en for new OEM stuff
  18. New gearknob arrived at local Nissan dealer so took the zed for a spin to collect it. Bout time I started getting the pile of parts on the car lol! Still need to get the bushes and exterior trim bits ordered though, sure someone told me it never ends but I didn't believe them!
  19. Duane trailered mine to Jimmer's too as I would have struggled to get the car down to him that week otherwise. Nice guy, great service and fair price
  20. Looks great so far Raja! I didn't get chance to see it as it was in the booth when I nipped by
  21. Picked car up from Jimmer's today, he's done a fantastic job. Some nice zeds in at the mo, Richard yours pulled up just as I was leaving! Nipped by Anil's on the way back to discuss the respray, he's definitely knows his stuff! Also saw the red Zed with gold wheels at Jimmer's that Anil painted earlier this year and it is an amazing job.
  22. Car is coming along nicely, you don't mess around! Would take me years to get that far lol!! I Like the colour Worth giving Nissan a shout for a spoiler, like Andrew says they are no longer available but they do still come up. I got mine from my local Nissan dealer just last year, from Netherlands stock.
  23. Finally getting round to starting a journal for the car after owning it for 10 years!!! Will post a bit of the story so far in the next posts (which will probably be in 2032...)
  24. Rang Jimmer today and got car booked in this week to have 60k cambelt change, Koyo radiator and pipes fitted, gearbox & diff oil change, all brake lines replaced and car undersealed and a general check over as he's not seen the car before (although he has seen the engine before and recalled all of the details of the engine immediately which he built for another customer in 2009 - better memory for me that's for sure!!) Hopefully going to nip by the body shop when I pick the car up to see about finally getting the respray done later in the year.
  25. Amazing show Richard, I went to the Nottingham one last week
