  1. Cheers for the birthday wishes guys, not been on here for a while!
  2. Great news buddy, hope to see it at the next meet whenever that may be!
  3. How did the installs go, are you happy with the underseat sub? Was thinking of getting one of these as the OEM one that came in my old 3 series gave a nice sound. Just trying to avoid taking up too much space in the boot with a sub (don't want anything booming but the Z's normal speaker configuration doesn't give enough bass for me)
  4. Thread revival! Finally got around to starting to get my Z beck on the road, sorted front Ksport discs & pads now back to sorting the rear... Has anyone used discs from Brake Depot before - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-300ZX-Z32-Twin-Turbo-Rear-Swirl-Grooved-Brake-Discs-with-Mintex-Pads/293125920174?fits=Model%3A300+ZX&hash=item443faa95ae:g:OFMAAOSwc99eaW9n Visually they match the KSport groove pattern better than the MTEC ones but are more money and not sure of the quality?
  5. Really nice zed you have their Robert, love the paint!! And cheers for the good tip on the passenger switch I'd agree with UK spec for the lenses
  6. I'm probably about 4 years late to the party as always!! Made me chuckle but NSFW!!! https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/?_ga=2.66218798.1445413874.1566161089-1634355827.1566161089 Search for a Smart car RJ04ZYX
  7. Might give them a try, £100 less than K-Sport ones I've seen and they also do ones to fit the old style bell housing. With the ones K-Sport sell you have to use adapters with them on the old style bell housings which are a further £36
  8. You can do that quick climate control diagnostic if you haven't seen it, Gaz. At least it would give a rough idea what might be wrong: https://conceptzperformance.com/wiki/index.php/Auto_Climate_Control_Diagnostics
  9. They are a far cry from the old days, I do miss my old 205 GTi sometimes, that was a hoot to drive!! I think the last car they made that I liked was the 406 Coupe...
  10. Interesting, I've found replacement front discs on there for the 330mm K-Sport big brake kit... £285, that's a fair bit cheaper than K-Sports own replacement discs which I was looking at getting, are they as good quality?
  11. Cheers Pete, I did speak to him but they only stock the EBC discs & pads
  12. They seem to only have front pads listed currently. Just noticed Euro Car Parts have 50% off brake parts currently so may get the pads from there
  13. They seem a good price, what pads do you use with them as none listed on there at the mo?
  14. Does anyone have any recommendations for OEM spec rear discs and pads? Euro Car Parts stock the Pagid OEM stuff, anyone used those before?
  15. Wow, fantastic showcase for the club, stand and lighting looked awesome and a great selection of cars!!
  16. Congrats on the new car, looks very tidy!
  17. Ah thats handy cheers Pete. I'm not far from you so they are both nearby
  18. I'd be interested in this, not sure how many takers there would be I'm looking into this as well at the moment, my friend who I would normally use has moved to Scotland and is in the process of relocating his business. I won't be looking at a race setup, basic 4 wheel alignment but from a company who can tailor the setup to your requirements. I'm also in the Midlands so will keep you posted.
  19. Good news mate!
  20. Looks great dude! Completely standard and not messed with from what I can tell too
  21. Hi welcome to the club!! Yep, get some pics up or its all a big fib! It's £25 for 1st year, renewal fee is £20 each year
  22. Cheers guys, liking the look of the Stillen kit so will give Mike a shout
  23. I had Energy red poly bushes, Whiteline ARB's and Tein coilovers on my Prelude a while back. I'm surprised I'm not crippled with that combo! The Energy bushes are quite harsh definately a fair bit over stock on that car, although the ones I replaced with were fairy worn. I think I'm definitely looking for similar setup to what you are after, softer ride bout 20-30mm lowered. Cheers for the advice everyone so far, so thinking at the mo: Meister-R coilovers Uprated ARB's OEM/Nismo bushings 300 degree front camber arms Powder coating remainder of OEM arms Just a couple of questions: 1) On the Meister R's can you specify spring rates on the lower priced version (£749 ZetaCRD 8/6) or is it just the £1500 GT1 made to order model? 2) Any recommendations on ARBs? I have used Whiteline in the past and been happy with them both performance and durability Cheers!
  24. Funnily enough I found the old spec sheet for the car and it used to have a full set of Powertrix arms, but the previous owner reverted back to stock before I bought it. I'm thinking of Meisters as they have height adjustment. I've never been happy with how the KYBs sit since I had the springs swapped (I'm a fussy git lol!) Andrew that camber kit looks good and will check through that pdf for the bushes. Think the KYB/Eibach combo lowers by 20mm if I remember, so do the standard rear arms allow much more adjustment?. I wouldn't want to go much lower than it is now but just have a bit more control over the heights which the Meisters afford.
