  1. According to the 300ZX "Enthusiast's companion" book the turbos are hybrid Garrett T2 exhaust turbine and T25 compressor.
  2. Do come and join our convoy! 7am for 7:15am departure, Cobham services.
  3. Find yourself a good independent Mercedes garage. Had W211 E-Class estates for 7 years now and ONLY use my local indi for genuine MB parts at fair prices, sensible labour rates and trust worthy diagnostics/repair recommendations.
  4. Does the car start normally or is it difficult to start when cold/hot? Re your fuel pump - it should not run continuously with the ignition switch turned to on (should just operate for ~1 second when engine not turning). So there is a problem with the fuel pump control system. http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/manual/manual/efec/026.gif http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/manual/manual/efec/150.gif http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/manual/manual/efec/151.gif
  5. Nothing like a broadsheet to catch all the bits dropping onto your lap!
  6. £21 at the gate (http://www.beaulieu.co.uk/plan-your-visit/prices-and-opening-times) or £11 if you park near Tescos and come in with someone from there (http://www.beaulieu.co.uk/beaulieu-events/club-rally/simply-japanese).
  7. Aside from the mechanical integrity of the car, you should first ascertain the condition of the bodywork. Check the bodywork for rust and/or poor repairs. Sills, in particular the sill area (inner and outer) in front of the rear wheels. Wheel arches and seat belt anchorages. Signs of body filler or patching and/or recent resprays to hide poorly repaired rust damage. We have had a number of Zeds on here that were bought cheap and have been found to require extensive repairs due to rust damage and have then been beyond the capabilities and/or funds to repair, so have been scrapped/broken up. Would be wise to check before considering the money needed for mechanical repairs and servicing jobs.
  8. The spec when Stuart put it up for sale in Oct 2008: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?117501-Silver-Streak-Moddified-2-2-90-TT and some photos from Oct 2003:
  9. From ugly duckling to magnificent swan! Enjoy the buzz Baz!
  10. The clip isn't fixed to any other part except the two pipes. The left hand pipe is terminated shortly after the clip and therefore the clip provides some anchorage to the right hand pipe.
  11. Best wishes on your Birthday Russ!
  12. Best wishes on your Birthday!
  13. I don't remember an occasion when all the "Blues Brothers" were together? I've pictures from Brands Hatch in May 2003 of yours in a line up.
  14. Just a few! Craig, great to see you back in a Zed. Boxhill to Brighton run?
  15. Well here is one for the scrapbook - Five Bells Pub, June 2002.

  18. More pictures: http://www.sh-car-sales.co.uk/used-cars/nissan-300-zx-3-0-v6-targa-3dr-bedford-201407266105079 Has the usual bolster wear on driver's seat.
  19. Marvellous! I'll PM you my mobile number in case of delays etc.
  20. I'm not an Apple user, but a quick google suggests that you can use .ttf fonts (either directly or by a simple conversion process). Example of use:
