  1. The system works very well. I fitted mine for insurance reasons (my driving ability and unexpected road conditions). The 300ZX TT is a powerful rear wheel drive car and can break away suddenly under power (especially with the turbos coming on boost rapidly). A number of cars in the Club have been written off or badly damaged over the years and nearly always as a result of getting on the power too early in a corner and/or slippery conditions. So the two key benefits are: a) In a rear wheel drive car you can use full throttle around a corner with greater confidence that the rear end isn't going to suddenly break away. b) In wet and slippery conditions the car accelerates as fast as grip allows without skidding all over the road. It is a shame that Racelogic have stopped making them.
  2. It dosn't actually matter. My system did have the four colours for each ABS sensor. However the system is smart enough to work out which wheels are driven (rear) and which are reference (front) and then left and right. This is covered in the manual (page 18) "Calibration". You can also setup and check manually (using the Windows RLTC software) which RLTC ABS channel is connected to which of the four ABS sensors (pages 48-50) "Wheels". If you want the RLTC to do the wheel calibration automatically you will need the calibration adapter (see below). This is plugged into the diagnostic lead during calibration. Otherwise do the setup manually. It is important that the four RLTC ABS sensor wires are run in a four core shielded cable from the RLTC box through the car to the ABS control unit. The four core shield should be connected to the existing shield from the RLTC harness. This is to ensure that no electrical interference is introduced to either the RLTC or ABS control units.
  3. It all looks there to me. Group 'A' are injectors input/output. Group 'B' are to ABS circuit. Group 'C' are Black box control. Group 'D' is diagnosics loom (to a PC). By way of reference, this is my install under the kick panel in the passenger footwell.
  4. Do you have the RLTC installation quide (not the one I posted above)? If you don't I've linked it below. It covers all the wires and their colours. The most important parts are the white plugs that go into the RLTC box itself. Have you got the launch control box (small black box with knob on it)? The single wires (page 14 and 15 of guide) are solid red is Ignition source, double black is ground black/white is RPM source. The injector circuit(s) are of the form: The wires are cut for each injector circuit. For the ABS connections the wires are spliced. The 8 way multilok connectors you have and are described on page 9. http://www.racelogic.co.uk/_downloads/traction/Traction_Manual.pdf
  5. I have the RLTC. This is the installation quide for a Z32: http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/tech/tc/tc.html Post some pictures up of the RLTC you have bought.
  6. There are a number of quides available for carrying out the Cambelt service as part of the 60k maintenance. This is the one of them: http://www.ttzd.com/tech/timingbelttech.html

  8. Comparing Nicola Sturgeon to Margaret Thatcher is rather like comparing an alcopop to a thirty year old malt!
  9. He's getting the hang of this OEM+ stuff now! Nice job Simon.
  10. Thanks, I've see that one before. However, I did come across this one which shows Pilkington Classics at Queenborough (the one that is closing) making small run replacement windscreens.
  11. Well that's three of them that have turned up in short order! How many more can there be hiding in Nissan's warehouses? Anyway, lovely to see one going on your car Dave.

  13. The closure reported in the local press: http://www.kentonline.co.uk/sheerness/news/pilkington-jobs-to-go-122999/ Going forwards, article states: "The company will continue to provide a full range of its Classics range and will transfer production to other plants, mainly in Finland, to meet demand for more specialised products."
  14. Ian is there a video showing the process you saw? It would be interesting to see how it is done.
  15. Best wishes on your Birthday Craig!
  16. Well yesterday was a day I never thought I would see in my lifetime. A day in which we begin the journey to extricate ourselves from the European Union - a political and economic project which has in my view become an unaccountable, undemocratic, arrogant, interfering, sclerotic, corrupt and protectionist quasi European superstate. A day in which we are set to leave the EU and make our own decisions, our own laws and take control of the things that matter most to us as an independent, democratic and sovereign United Kingdom. A day I have never been more proud to be British. To the EU I say goodbye, to our European friends I say we remain so. We are leaving the EU, we are not leaving Europe. To all of the world I say we are an open, outwards looking country open for business. Ready to rekindle relationships with old friends and to forge our own trading agreements with countries all over the world. Parliament voted 6 to 1 to give the people the opportunity to decide for themselves whether to stay in the EU or leave. They did and the democratic decision was to leave. The process of leaving has now started and I feel now is the time for all of us to get behind that decision and get the best possible outcome for the United Kingdom’s new relationship with Europe and the rest of the world.
  17. Well here is the original referenced source: http://worldhappiness.report/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2017/03/HR17_3-20-17.pdf (page 22 on) Make of that what you will.
  18. Dave I've arrowed the wire running form the 3rd brake light (a) and the harness splicing point (b). Both wires are red.
  19. UK Specs don't have the Altia sub harness.
  20. Pattern info from FSM: Note: RHD pattern kicks up on the left and LHD kicks up on the right (note b).
  21. Well no real harm done. You going to fill in those four holes above the swage line?
  22. Opie oils (amonst others) stock it. http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-1020-red-line-synthetic-manual-transmission-90-mt90-75w-90-gl4.aspx
