Well yesterday was a day I never thought I would see in my lifetime. Dave I've arrowed the wire running form the 3rd brake light (a) and the harness splicing point (b). Both wires are red.

UK Specs don't have the Altia sub harness.

I use Redline MT-90 Gearbox Oil. Gearbox became noticeably smoother after about 1000 mile run in.

I just removed the connector from the 3rd brake light and used soldered bullet connectors of the type below. Soldered splice into rear light switched feed near the o/s light cluster. For the earth I used a soldered O-ring connector.

You will need to run a live feed down through the boot lid to the rear light wiring and earth to the rear wiper earth.
