Gearbox oil
I use Redline MT-90 Gearbox Oil. Gearbox became noticeably smoother after about 1000 mile run in.

Third brake light wiring.
I just removed the connector from the 3rd brake light and used soldered bullet connectors of the type below. Soldered splice into rear light switched feed near the o/s light cluster. For the earth I used a soldered O-ring connector.

Third brake light wiring.
You will need to run a live feed down through the boot lid to the rear light wiring and earth to the rear wiper earth.

What's wrong with the one you have on now? It looks the part and has OEM fit and finish.

"You picked a fine time to leave me, Loose Wheel!" - Mondo's new Zed.
If you are getting lines made up then banjos would be my choice.

Hi from Oxfordshire
Welcome to the Club Luke. When you are subscribed send me the VIN code and I will let you know when the car was built etc.

Is it not a banjo fitting on that caliper type?

What did you do to your zed today?
Now you just need to fit a Carbing rear strut Chris. I found it makes quite a difference to the feel of the car's handling.

300zx windscreens - difficulty in getting replacements.
I would have thought that the cost for a replacement windscreen would be covered by the insurance policy (as mine does). Doesn't get around the delay in sourcing the screen, but the most you should have to pay is the excess (which in my case is £75). Replacement would be for a damaged unrepairable windscreen.

That's the point about 300ZX ownership - it's all about the journey not the destination.- Project Dittohead Red
