  1. I've updated the FSM wiring diagram to include the pin numbers on the relay. el-60.pdf I get power to the fuse and relay, so guessing the switch completes the ground circuit rather than supplies power? Correct, switched GND to pin 2. Now if I ground pin 1 on the relay the fog light comes on, should that be correct? I assume you mean pin 2? If you ground pin 1 you will blow the fuse as it is permanent +12v. With the relay in place, if the rear fog light and the tell-tale light comes on by grounding pin 2 that shows relay is OK and that the "load" side of the circuit is working. The fault is on the switched GND circuit from pin 2 back. E112/M59 to M14 diode pack and then back through the rear fog lamp switch and the lighting switch (in the headlights on position).
  2. If you want to do it on a budget you could always fit a good s/h pair of OEM tension rods - they do exist. It is pretty obvious when they fail (as you have found out). Post a "wanted" advert in the "Zed related - Parts" section on the forum and see if something comes up.
  3. The best aftermarket bushes (using rubber) are Nismo 54476-RS590. Not cheap though.
  4. Can you confirm that you have the headlights switched on?
  5. And here is another that used to belong to Buckaroo Banzai aka Croeso. Not sure of its whereabouts now.
  6. Your car is a UK spec (from a previous post you made)? This is the FSM wiring diagram for the rear fog lamp: el-60.pdf Assuming it is good, does the tell-tail light (under the boost gauge) come on when you press the fog light switch?
  7. He does design great products for the Z32, however the only way I would buy any AshSpec product is through a reputable dealer who actually stocks the product (for example SpecialityZ).
  8. A large part of that will depend on the pads being used and the type of driving you are doing.
  9. Aftermarket high quality performance part for our Z32s soon to be NLA. http://twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2618136/PSA-Mike-Smith-is-Dis-Continuing-his-MSP-manifolds.html If you are planning on buying a set best do it now...
  10. So what does need to be done to make a WS "RHD" loom fit?
  11. If it helps you Simon, before I sold my Stillen Type III lip I gave a lot of thought of how best to fix it properly to the bumper. I've seen some poor jobs which in my view spoil the fit and finish of an otherwise well made piece of kit. For what it's worth, I'm happy to pass that information on to you.
  12. If you want to keep track of a specific post (within a thread) then drag the post number - top right of the post (for example #3) to an appropriately named folder on your desktop (for example "Web links). You will need to rename the link manually from say #3 to "this is the post I wanted".
  13. Information herein: http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/main/view/903077/WindshieldT-toproof-trim-removal-writeup-LOTS-of-pics.html http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.498
  14. These turned up today and will be fitted along with new OEM rubber fuel lines and spring clips. The rational behind replacing them is explained here: http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2610744/Here-is-how-it-works.html
  15. Dave, the links I posted earlier show 23781-40P10 being sold for Z32 applications by two reputable vendors. Provided your s/h part is serviceable you can fit it. Captain Slow is muddying the waters.
  16. The part# is valid, it is the part itself which is showing NLA on NG. It is however still available in the US with that part#.
  17. Who knows - maybe a different supplier or redesign during production. Amazingly expensive in the UK: http://nissangenuine.com/nissan/nissan-not-available-2378140p10/

  19. It is a push fit. Gently tap it back in. Use a small block of wood or similar between pipe and hammer to avoid damage. You may need to use a sealant if the pipe has become loose.
  20. Make sure these pipes (two of them both sides) are not fouling the linkages. The pipes can pop out and need fixing back in place.
  21. Yes, but read CZP description re piping. - - - Updated - - - Wow they have gone up a bit in price since I last asked! If you find/use another repairer do let us know.
