  1. I'm after OEM coil pack bolts in as good condition as possible as some of mine are looking a little tired. Nissan replaced them during production with brighter zinc finished bolts but I prefer the original look. I'm also after two of the small black plastic covers that sit on top of the coil pack connectors. I've arrowed both items in the photo. Small items I know, but would appreciate any help in sourcing them.
  2. Nice tidy workshop you have there Joel!
  3. I would go with the colour the car was born with, but whatever you do please loose the bonnet nostrils!
  4. Very nice indeed Gary. If I may suggest a pair of these to finish things off:
  5. As you are sticking with early style injectors I recommend the switched power modification: https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?171664
  6. Larger than stock pintle less injectors?
  7. Installed the correct indicator stalk for my UK spec (with headlight flasher symbol) fitted with extra turn indicator warning lamp (the why is described below). https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?173537
  8. My UK spec takes 4L to refill to middle/top mark on dipstick.
  9. Botley Hill Farmhouse, Warlingham. Very nice pub in the Surrey North Downs countryside, large carpark. The owner Nicole Joubert was more than happy for us to use the venue for a Club meeting. Suggested either Saturday am or Sunday am (depending on numbers). You would need to check with her again as I discussed the matter with her in January. http://www.botleyhill-farmhouse.co.uk/
  10. Bench press every time.
  11. Cut them off in situ (and tidied up) similar to this photo:
  12. What a lovely looking little red shorty!
  13. Looking good Simon. Don't forget to fit your Liber-t tag!
  14. Did you disconnect the o2 sensors to test? Here is a useful guide on boost leak location (or vacuum leak when off boost): http://www.thumper300zx.com/z32/boostleaks/boost_leak_guide.htm 5 psi is considered the safe maximum for pressurising intake system whilst testing.
  15. Lovely looking car and show Gary - well done!
  16. Hunting diagnostics (2) from FSM step 1 - check 02 sensor connections: ec70-71.pdf
  17. You might find one layer is enough as there is not much of a gap between the trim and the duct.
  18. There is about as much chance of you doing that as fitting one of these on your steering wheel:
  19. Do you mean nissangenuine.com? Then yes - Endon Services. It is worth checking both as although they are the same company the prices can vary for the same part.
  20. Re detonation sensor replacement in stock location with engine in car: http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/1094808/Changing-the-knock-sensor-after-removing-the-transmission.html It can be done: http://twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/786546/Detonation-sensor-replacement---success.html
  21. The items circled in red are the PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valves - air not water.
  22. Many thanks to Howard and Stephen. Looking forward to another great day at Beaulieu (as always).
  23. I know, I was actually thinking of between now and then and in particular September.
