  1. Here is some reading for you from the very well respected GregD@SpecialityZ in the US. "I am here to tell you that IN MY OPINION it would be better to upgrade your intercoolers and pipes rather than upgrade your turbos if your not going to do both" Scroll down to charts showing bhp and torque for this setup: "And last we will add a stock turbo, stock engine car to the chart that has 2.5" intercooler pipes, 2.5" Ash intercoolers, full 3 inch Exhaust, MS Manifolds, Selin dual intake, 740cc injectors." http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2415470/A-little-info-about-turbos-and-pipes-DYNO-CHARTS.html 740cc pintleless injectors are more reliable than 555cc pintle injectors.
  2. Absolutely, the OEM fit and finish is spot on (thanks again Ash). I wonder how many more are available before really being NLA.
  3. Excellent! The "wings" need to be very precisely positioned before the bonding agent goes off.
  4. Well done Gary! Will look perfect when all painted up. You will need to provide a switched live feed from one of the rear brake lights and an earth connection. I used the wiper motor earthing point in the tail gate. You up to speed on fixing/bonding the spoiler to the tail gate?
  5. UK specs had a dummy insert which was exactly like the real thing except it had a solid body coloured lense.
  6. Do you push or do you pull?
  7. Thanks for sharing your Dad's wonderful solution to the problem!
  8. Ah, I see. The OEM finish is satin though?
  9. Replacement OEM CMC delivered today, all the way from Japan.
  10. You're not taking any chances wearing the glove then Tom!
  11. What make of paint did you use?
  12. You don't have to go to 50/50 mix as I am being somewhat conservative! This is the relevant page from my owner's manual.
  13. Z32s use "Traditional" Inorganic Additive Technology (IAT) Ethylene Glycol base. In this country (winter) 50/50 mix with distilled water is satisfactory. The product you have bought from Halfords is IAT antifreeze so is OK to use. http://www.halfords.com/motoring/engine-oils-fluids/antifreeze/halfords-silicate-antifreeze-concentrate-2-litres
  14. Congratulations on your purchase! Great colour BTW.
  15. Their modified policy includes Track Day/Rally cover as a benefit: https://www.lancasterinsurance.co.uk/insurance/modified-car-insurance/ Were you seeking a quote under their Classic policies?
  16. No wonder that door shuts with a thud Joel!
  17. Excellent, good to know it will stay in place when you get to cross an Alpine pass!
  18. That stuff wouldn't be used in aircraft maintenance by any chance?
  19. Doesn't that stuff bubble up in the heat of the sun?
  20. Come on spill the beans, what did you use?
  21. Well big change here since this noon. Temperature has dropped to 17°C , some very angry looking clouds rapidly passing through, no sun now and at times a surreal pink light (bit like a partial eclipse). Gusts a bit stonger than earlier.
  22. Indeed it is Gary - very warm (21°C), clear sunny skies and somewhat blustery here - rather pleasant really for the time of year.
  23. I know which way I would go - stock or OEM+ (you can easily reverse the mods/changes back to original). In years to come you will be the owner of a more appreaciated, sought after and valuable car.
