  1. You are right to feel uneasy, the engine is an interference type. At a minimum change the cambelt.
  2. The ad states "The vehicles current MOT test has expired" - it did in June 2007. Will be interesting to see what happens on the 9th December as to it making its reserve.
  3. Come on Joel, admit it you love all that stuff!
  4. Remind us - what modifications have you had done to obtain those results?
  5. Excellent work Joel, they look as good as new.
  6. You will need to register on the site in that case.
  7. There is a auto to manual writeup here with pictures: http://www.300zxclub.com/showthread.php?t=85616
  8. I have a spare one if you would like to have another go. Had it for many years, but it has been stored in its box. Cover postage for me if you do.
  9. That is clean car territory. Are you specifically looking for UK specs or imports also included in your search?
  10. Thank goodness you came on here and asked first! Not everyone who is new to Z32s does unfortunately. What sort of budget are you playing with?
  11. Welcome to the Club! As a cat C I would question the statement "fully repaired" as the front bumper is clearly deformed around the headlight washers and suggests front end damage. Check the front strut mountings inside the engine bay for aligment with the holes they bolt through. Have you done a MOT history check? It is currently showing a fail. https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-history
  12. Here is some reading for you from the very well respected GregD@SpecialityZ in the US. "I am here to tell you that IN MY OPINION it would be better to upgrade your intercoolers and pipes rather than upgrade your turbos if your not going to do both" Scroll down to charts showing bhp and torque for this setup: "And last we will add a stock turbo, stock engine car to the chart that has 2.5" intercooler pipes, 2.5" Ash intercoolers, full 3 inch Exhaust, MS Manifolds, Selin dual intake, 740cc injectors." http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2415470/A-little-info-about-turbos-and-pipes-DYNO-CHARTS.html 740cc pintleless injectors are more reliable than 555cc pintle injectors.
  13. Absolutely, the OEM fit and finish is spot on (thanks again Ash). I wonder how many more are available before really being NLA.
  14. Excellent! The "wings" need to be very precisely positioned before the bonding agent goes off.
  15. Well done Gary! Will look perfect when all painted up. You will need to provide a switched live feed from one of the rear brake lights and an earth connection. I used the wiper motor earthing point in the tail gate. You up to speed on fixing/bonding the spoiler to the tail gate?
  16. UK specs had a dummy insert which was exactly like the real thing except it had a solid body coloured lense.
  17. Do you push or do you pull?
  18. Thanks for sharing your Dad's wonderful solution to the problem!
  19. Ah, I see. The OEM finish is satin though?
  20. Replacement OEM CMC delivered today, all the way from Japan.
  21. You're not taking any chances wearing the glove then Tom!
  22. What make of paint did you use?
  23. You don't have to go to 50/50 mix as I am being somewhat conservative! This is the relevant page from my owner's manual.
